best microphone to capture a conversation in a furnished room, 14ftx23ft.

 

budget $800 and under.  needs to plug into a PC, I dont mind buying things to convert XLR/TRS

Audio Technica AT2020 is what I use, itsnt too expensive plus with a decent mixer, it sounds great

You can get really good (like 95% of what an 800$ mic would sound like) with something for about 100-150$, simplest would be either AT2020 or a blue yeti, but if you need better quality then other people on the forum know better than i do

I've tried the Blue Yeti, didn't like it. I got the AT2020, it's pretty good, wasn't sure what else was out there.
