Best Price/Performance PC for Gaming 1080p@240hz

Hello everyone,

I want a gaming computer that will power a 1080p @ 240hz monitor.

I prefer AA over textures, effects and would rather run 8x MSAA than high textures or effects.

 

What I've found is: (german prices https://geizhals.de )

250€ - i5 9600K

210€ - 2x8Gb G.Skill Trident Z 4266 CL19

775€ - Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080

190€ - Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro ( Gamers Nexus says it's good for CPU OC - phases over phases)

165€ - BeQuiet! Dark Power Pro 11 750Watt

 

(not sure about this)

160€ - Corsair Hydro H150i Pro

330€ - Cooler Master Cosmos C700M

190€ - Cooler Master MasterCase H500M

 

My issue is that I'm not sure if I want an AIO or a custom water cooling.

I seriously don't car if it's 200euros more or less. I wont touch this computer for next 3-5 years

(only cleaning and maintaining the water cooling or something)

For price to performance, neither. Dark Rock Pro 4, or NH-D15.

Again, if you want bang for buck, grab a 550 watt. Your system needs only like 350 at max.

If you really want 240Hz, you'd need as many frames as possible, and for that, I can't recommend anything under i7 (8700K, 9700K).

Those games all don't use more than 6c6t so your statement makes zero sense...
