Canon Imagerunner 2520 drivers for Win 8.1 required

hey Guys,

I am in a jam. can anyone help me out. the windows 8.1 drivers for Canon Image runner 2520 in the web are mostly not working. even the ones installing aren't getting printouts. It just beeps long and displays an error to load A4(R) paper. The issue happened when we upgraded the customer's system from win 7 to 8.1. The previously installed drivers were bought for Windows XP systems and doesn't seems to be supported in the 8.1 environment.

does anyone have a fix or any drivers compatible? it is a pretty old printer but it works fantastic for bulk prints and scans so it is not expendable.

What driver version are you using? The latest driver has a release date of April 11, 2019, and is the universal driver:

And are you using the PCL or the PS driver?

It is PCL6. I have tried drivers from this website already and it is giving the same error(Long beep and Load paper warning)
