https://www.ebay.com/itm/323422347808 it would plug in where it says HDD1 on the board.

Something like this, however you should find a part list for your model to find the exact part because I can't promise that will work. you might be able to get it from HP if you contact them directly. When talking about laptops it's important to always use the exact model number, not just the specs. like for example, I have an hp envy 13 ah0051wm. With that people can find the specific hardware for the model. It is more important in laptops where they will use custom connections over the standards desktops use.

I have tried They kept reconnecting me from one department to the next ... I spoke with like 6 people and it went nowhere ...  :(
I was hoping someone would know or has a laptop like that with the cable inside and might have a pic of it ... ( wishful thinking I know )

As far as the ram I was going to make a separate post about that but since you mentioned it...

Inside i have 2 of those can you suggest good ram ? I think the max I can have is 16 gb so 2 8gb sticks.

I was looking around but I dont know much about  ram and what the numbers mean soo

Thanks for your post

If you have 2 then you already have dual channel RAM. Don't need to upgrade. x2 8GB RAM is also possible if you want to do that (any RAM stick with 2400MHz CL17 spec will do)

Would that work ?

Might be a dumb question what does CL17 mean ?
