Air fibre 5x

I'm thinking of getting an air fibre 5x for my next project. It says 500Mb per second + for it's speed. Since it is rated for a long distance and I'm only using it from 600-800 feet away from the other one I wonder how fast it would go? Would it still be limited to 500 or would I get like  800? In such close range. also how is the latency on these things? Thanks :)

The thing with long range wifi (I've spent hours and hours and hours setting up AirFiber) is that there are so many variables within the environment that can affect it. Certainly you would hope at that short a distance that it should be able to achieve full speed, but again many environment variables such as line of sigh come into play. I would set your highest expectations to be 500mbps, if you get over that then bonus. I haven't worked with that model specifically so I can't tell you what to expect with that exact model.
