Help for Acer Predator Helios 300 (1060 edition)

I bought a Helios 300 last december on the 31st. For almost all my gaming i connect my laptop to a monitor. So in the display settings it shows the monitor using the 1060 and the laptop using the intel graphics. My school just started so i had to bring my laptop to school and during break i decided to play some games. While playing i realized my fps was very low (example minecraft which i usually run in the few hundreds with optifine was now running at 50+). So i went to see the display settings and it showed that the laptop was still using the intel uhd graphics. so i tried to search the issue and surprise surprise the internet didnt help (maybe im just dumg idk but i didnt work) so i thought "hmmmm, if its still using the intel uhd graphics what i i remove it it should obviously use the 1060 now right???" No it didnt and now its using the microsoft adapter thingy.  and now i need help thank you
