What speed ram do i need for a ryzen 7 1700

Hey,

 

i am gonna build my self a pc with a ryzen 7 1700, but what speed ram do i need or is good for gaming and video editing. do i need 2666, 3000 , 3200 or something else?

You should definitely go above at least 3000 MHz. 3200 will give you marginally better performance so if you can find a good deal on a 3200 kit you might as well go for that. Anything above 3200 is unnecessary imo.

2933 or 3066, not round 3000, it won't work nicely with that (dunno why exactly)
