GPU extension

Hi,
I'm new here because I want to know that my new purschased cables from ebay [https://www.ebay.com/itm/30cm-8-Pin-PCI-Express-PCIe-Power-Extension-Cable-Male-to-Female-006233/200822711609?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649] won't damage my system.

I have moved cables in different connectors than they're on the picture because cables are all the same I hope, they have same info on them: AWM 1007 VW-1 80°C 300V 18AWG ZELONGKANG. Only 3 of them are yelow as you could see in the link.

I currently have 1080Ti and 650W Seasonic Focus plus gold and it's pretty expensive so I will have to be sure if it will damage it. Thank you for your replies and sorry for my English, I'm not from English speaking country.

So, what are you trying to plug into this cable? The original PCIe cable? Or something like a EPS 8 pin?

It's cable extension which I changed the position of cables. For example the cable eith the pin in top left is now in top right etc. and i want to plug the extension to my GPU.

mathematically any unnecessary part can damage your system one way or other.

but it just a strip of cable for crying out loud, cant be simpler than that, you'll be fine. other than getting a rep for using ketchup and mustard.

the power lead on graphics card are overkill for most people, even with high end card. if you arent doing extreme oc like der8auer or kingpin then you're fine.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!
