Speaker take apart

SHG_Marsh

I was helping my dad clean the yard when I noticed a speaker in our rock wall. The rock wall has trees and bushes and stuff that was covering it. I have no idea how long it has been there. I brought into my house and plugged it in. It still works but when the volume is high or there is bass, the sound is terrible. It says craig on the back. I want to open it but I don't know how to. It probably has dirt and water on the inside. The lights work fine but the audio sucks and it doesn't hold any charge

You got a picture of this speaker?
Depending on the make or model, the opening part will likely be very different. For example, an older wooden box may be held together with screws, nails or even staples, while a newer model made from plastic is likely held together with clips all around it.

If you're lucky, there is probably some way to remove the plastic/rubber stuff around this speaker and get into the speaker at that point with a couple cheap screws and a lot of clips; but my experience with these types of devices has not always been positive.

Usually these things are made as cheap as possible, with no thought behind repair-ability.
