I can't think of any bad defenders nor attackers.
Even Tachanka can be good if you can surprise your enemy with him.

My favourite defenders are smoke, lesion and echo, attackers probably Thatcher and zofia, they are good all-arounders and hibana due to superior hard breach and has breach charges unlike thermite.

Same, my fav defender is lesion. I recently bought finka and love her! She acc so OP if yk how to use her
