"Sort by" suggestion

Recommended Posts

Is there any way to have the site remember the "Sort by" preferences when a user is browsing a specific forum? I know the default can be set for the site as a whole, because Floatplane is sorted by Start date while the rest of the site is set by default to "Recently Updated" and I'm always clicking the "sort by" tab every time I'm in tech news. (Personally, I'm more interested in current events as opposed to three weeks ago)

I'm definitely not asking for the whole sub forum to be changed, but was curious if this was possible to implement automatically on a by user basis.

It would make sense, but it would need to be changed by IPS. I've suggested it to them before, but unfortunately they aren't too great at implementing suggestions.

I don't work for Floatplane Media, so any Floatplane comments that I make are my own and may be incorrect or in conflict with the official view.
