Almost finished selecting hardware, can you share your opinion?

Paxco

I've planned a build for gaming and modest workload as workstation , might be interested on streaming and i'm almost sure that it's almost ok'ish , any advice on it?

I want some eye candy , already bought the case and ssd, PSU was on sale and the Power load lands around max efficiency and GPU is on hold since i'm waiting upon more benchmarks for the 1660ti to come out.

The 1660 Ti performs slightly worse than a 1070, and performs significantly worse than a 2060. You might want to consider looking into buying a used 1070 Ti or GTX 1080 over the 1160, as you will be getting better framerates in most titles.

Drop 2600x for 2600.

Spend the extra on a better mobo and overclock manually.

Drop memmory to same but cheaper 3000mhz. No need to buy 3200mhz

Not really. It depends on the game. That link you posted clearly shows the 1660 ti being faster in some titles, and the 1070 faster in others. Not really much of a difference between them overall.

Valid question, I don't trust Corsair with PSUs, they have okey ones, but Seasonic is way more reliable.

I've seen an offer for the rog strix oc 2060 for the same price as the MSI , should I consider swapping?

That is just nonsense. The RMx is a better unit than the Focus for starters. Also Seasonic have some terrible units in their lineup, just like any other brand.

The Corsair unit is fine. You don't need 750W though. A 550W would be enough for your system.

Thanks , I'm gonna do so since I couldn't find the seasonic at a relevant price nearby. BTW , what do you think about swapping the MSI for a rog strix of (same price)

I wouldn't imagine that there will be much difference between them. I would stick with the MSI though if you want the RGB to sync with the board.

I would consider getting a cheaper cooler though and going with the R7 2700 over the 2600X especially if you plan on doing some streaming. Otherwise I would say the R5 2600 is better value than the 2600X unless you can get them at the same/similar price.
