Looking for new display for my gaming PC.

My current monitor: BenQ 24 Zowie XL2411

My current PC specs:

- Coffee Lake i3-8350K, LGA1151, 4GHz, 8MB

- PRIME Z370-P, ATX

- Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

- Seasonic 620W M12II-620

- Kingston 8GB (2x4GB) Fury DDR4 2133 MHz, CL14

- MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ARMOR 8G

These are the displays i have been looking for:

- Acer Predator XP241H - Only because G-sync. Otherwise it has the same features than my current one.

- Asus ROG Swift PG279Q - I have searched for information and many have told, that this would be the best choice for my GTX 1070 Ti.

- Asus ROG SWIFT PG348Q - I have always been interested for ultrawide monitors. However i am afraid, that my PC can't handle it.

G-sync

pretty much dead.

and for what its worth like @Tha Joker said, I have both the MSI optix 27" 1080p monitor. love the thing. also have the HP omen 24.5" monitor. its also very good.

and of the 3 you said, the ultrawide is too much for your pc. the 2nd one, its very good however 1440p might demand a lot from your pc, as the cpu is on the lower end. and for the first one, well, gsync is not worth the extra money.

G-Sync is rapidly approaching obsolete now that NVIDIA is finally starting to embrace FreeSync, so I wouldn't spend the $100+ premium for a monitor with it.

The PG279Q is definitely nice, but I don't know that a GTX 1070 Ti can handle warp 165Hz 1440p. Never tried it, but I would be concerned that 165Hz might be spending up for performance you'll never achieve unless you upgrade your GPU.

I too am a fan of ultrawides. I used an LG 2560x1080 ultrawide for a year-ish before replacing it with a 4K panel. It's not that the ultrawide itself was bad--I loved it for productivity and media. For gaming? Ehhhh...we had our differences, and they caused me to break up with it and get the 4K display. The biggest problem was support. Some games worked just fine. Others would only put up a 1920x1080 picture and leave the outside edges black. Some would stretch the edges of the image to make it fill the panel, but it was still really a 1080p image. A few stretched the image into some Pollack-esque atrocity, and a few just refused to work (without third-party intervention--looking at you, Skyrim). As a gaming resolution, I expect designers to stick to the 16:9 resolution as default rather than moving to 21:9 anytime soon/ever. As long as that's the case, 21:9 support will be iffy, and probably very slim for competitive online games where a wider screen gives one player a huge advantage over another.

Of the group, I'd probably go with the PG279Q. You're paying for performance you probably won't hit anytime soon, but it's a better value and better option than the other two.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

At 1080p your PC will give you your 144fps to match the refresh rate.  Also you show you interested in 24" monitor then suddenly put in a ROG swift 34 incher which costs a arm and a leg.  FIrst decide what size you really want and what resolution you will be playing at then we can help you make a decision.  For now its a no brainer the ROG Swift all the way.

As for g-sync don't bother, just get a freesync monitor and nVidia will take advantage of it since it now supports adaptive and freesync and freesync 2 and what have you.
