More RAM

So right now i have 16GB Gskill Ripjaws V 2400, and i want to buy another kit. Should i buy the 3000 CL15 one, even though it is going to get downgraded to 2400 in case i can sell my old kit and then buy another 3000 one or just go with another 2400?

Then you might as well. Or, overclock your current kit of ram and see if it lives up to your standards.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I got my 2400 kit to 2800 without much effort. You should definitely try OCing before getting a faster kit.

You want to run both kits or swapping one for the other?

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

They will run at their slowest EDIT: compatible speeds and timings, so not worth it unless you want to swap your existing 2400 kit too.

I know that they will both run at CL15 2400, but im just saying in case i can resell the kit i have, which shouldn't be too hard, and then buy another one at 3000, will it be worth it?

Sure. Memory speeds impact Ryzen a lot, but do expect to see small to medium gains overall in most applications.

I'd say buy the 3000 kit and OC the 2400. Replace the 2400 only if it refuses to get higher than the 2800 you've gotten before. I went ahead and got the 3000 kit of Trident Z because it was $5 more for the kit to jump from 2400mhz to 3000mhz. Started playing some Cities Skylines and maxed out the 2x8g kit in no time. Added a random 8g stick of kingston 2400 and was able to get them all running at 2933 with no effort really. Although it became unstable at 3000 but I just wanted to get back to the game without shutting everything down every time I play so I Didn't bother trying to get the little bump to 3000.

I'm not so sure about that statement. I have a ryzen, and running on 2133 or 3000 doesn't seem to change a whole lot in most applications. Maybe this is because of the games i'm playing, cities for instance or total war...
