Ryzen CPU for work/gaming

Hi, I’m new to pc building

I plan on doing some video editing, some CADing and some gaming. I’m planning on using a R5 2600, R7 1700, or a R7 2700. This is the rest of the build:

Aorus B450 Pro WiFi mobo (itx)

16gb 2400 ddr4 (will upgrade to 32

RX580

1TB HDD

650watt PSU

Which CPU should I chose for the best value? Ideally I would like to spend less money if I can...

2700x is currently the best performance per dollar workstation cpu as of right now.

Though if you want ryzen, get faster memory.

What programs are you using specifically? If Adobe, get an Intel processor.

As @CUDAcores89 mentioned. Definitely invest in a ssd as boot drive - and sticking your frequent used heavy programs on.

Have you already bought the rest of the parts? There is some stuff that would need changing.

I would suggest R5 2600 if you do not need the eight cores.

Wait what about a case...

And an SSD...

I Mean you can build your PC in a cardboard boxcand use an HDD as a boot drive, but one will speed up boot times drastically and the other will not be a fire hazard.

I plan on upgrading to an SSD later on when I have more money, and also I’m getting an cheap H15 case from thermatake
