Hey guys and gals been doing some looking into the subject of drone racing and am very much interested into it and with ESPN recently announcing that the'll be broadcasting drone racing I started to get curious about how many people are interested in it. So who likes it/ is interested in it? http://strawpoll.me/7364553 P.S. - I have been mainly watching the Drone Racing League (DRL)

So I'm going back to Norway for the summer, and since I'm taking a flight, I can't take too many things with me. I plan on leaving the larger things like my desktop, and the sub here for the summer, however since I will be taking my drivers test after coming back to Canada after the summer, it would be beneficial for me to take my G27 with me and practise using the h shifter over the summer. The issue is that with the wheel on the main housing, it is too tall to fit in my suitcase. I'm aware you can disassemble it fairly easily by removing the front hex screws on the image below, but would there be any possibility for it to get uncalbrated (being off center) Once re assembled?

I'm thinking of using this mobo in my next build but I don't know if it's actually any good because there does not seem to be many reviews on it yet. My question to you is, have any of you ever tried it and if you have how do you feel about it(advantages/disadvantages/complaints)?

I've never owned a racing game on PC but was considering picking up Dirt Rally after all the great reviews but it got me thinking, how do you steer on PC? On console, the turning "sharpness" is dictated by the angle of the analogue stick but with a keyboard you don't have control over the turning "sharpness" since a key is either pressed or not pressed. Are you expected to buy a Steering wheel or something?

With it's current price $350 on amazon is it still worth it? I found some on eBay for $300. Yet for some reason the price increased. Is it still worth it. A g920 and shifter is $400. I was thinking of getting a thrustmaster with a shifter.

Hey guys, When I was back in Norway I had a $10 jankey wheel that I got at a thrift shop (but shit it was 99 cents). With all its faults, it had decent force feedback, and was pretty accurate. Now that I moved to canada for Uni, I don't have it anymore and racing sims just aren't the same. I went on Kijiji.ca (like craigslist) to look for a driving force gt (the setp up from the one I got at the thrift shop), and found one for $40, but the guy hasent responded to the email I sent a week and a half ago, so thats probabaly a dead end. I watched videos on racing wheels, and noticed that many people recommended the g27, so I tried looking for a used one. I came across one for $125, and he responded to a few concerns I had about the force feedback. My question is would it be worth $110? (assuming I can lowball it by $15)

I really enjoy simulators and racing games. I would like to get a dedicated simulator environment at my desk (with one monitor). I would like to buy a Logitech g920 steering wheel for a PC and my xbox one. I am thinking about buying the iBUYPOWER Revolt 2 with a i5 6600k and GTX 950. The games I play are Forza 6, American Truck Simulator, European Truck Simulator 2, Farming Simulator 15, Microsoft Flight Sim, etc. Would the specs of the computer be able to play these games at 1080p and at least 60FPS? Do I need a GTX 960? Thanks. Here is a link to the computer: http://www.ibuypower.com/Product/Revolt2

So me and my father got into this conversation a while ago, I just wanted to share this idea that fascinated me. The ultimate game in my eyes is a realistic driving/racing game where the WHOLE USA is your playground. I'm not talking like just main roads like hoghways, I'm talking EVERY road. It would be so cool to drive to my house, or go offroading at some cool trails or drifting the streets that you grew up on. The makers of the game could use lasers to scan every road like in Assetto Corsa, using cars like Google Earth with mounted lasers to get every little bump or pothole, make it as realistic as possible. But then my father and I got into the conversation of the sheer size of files. We talked about how they would split the games into different games, or possible starting off one place and have DLC whenever you want to explore a new state or section of the United States. There would be loads of customization for vehicles as well. It will probably never happen because of the time, money, and space it would take to get that much info crammed into a video game. But it would be so fucking awesome to see it actually happen. I want your guys thoughts and ideas to go off on this too, as I love to talk about stuff like this!

What is the difference between this: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Driving-Force-Wheel-941-000110/dp/B00Z0UWWYC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1451708172&sr=8-3&keywords=logitech+g29 and this: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Driving-Force-Racing-941-000121/dp/B00Z0UWV98/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1451708327&sr=8-3&keywords=logitech+g920 TL:DR: Difference between G29 and G920 Driving Force

Hello everyone, I recently got into Euro Truck Simulator 2 and so far I am enjoying it however driving with a keyboard and mouse is not the best experience. So I am looking for a steering wheel and pedals for the PC so I can use them for ETS2. The only problem here is the budget I have which is £50.

Trying to get an idea for how many of you out there on the LTT forums enjoy racing and would be interested in an LTT based racing league or group? No seasons, no points, just for fun competition. Would "meet up" once a week or so at a regular time to do a race or races. While it will be just for fun, some rules will apply and be enforced (no deliberate contact, no ramming etc.) common track/racing edicate. The time would be when it (hopefully) works best for the majority. So, cast your vote(s) and let me know if this might be a viable thing to pursue. My preference is Project Cars just because of the simplicity and ease in setting up MP races as well as a good selection of cars & tracks. Would prefer if you use a wheel and pedals for control. Unless you're REALLY good with a game pad controller. To be clear; those with game pad controllers are welcome to join, just keep in mind; there will most likely be no assists (no ABS, traction or stability control). Other details like track, vehicle, weather, length of practice/qualifying/race etc. can all be determined later, once I know there is some significant interest. Thanks, MEC. **EDIT** Please, if you are interested and cast a "yes" vote, please post a reply so I can see who you are and get in contact. Thanks!

The title of this thread is not rhetorical, I'm actually curious what a gaming chair has over a half-decent computer chair, besides the much higher price. I'm currently looking to replace my computer chair with something nice. I can get a really comfortable full-back leather computer chair in the $100-150 range easily, with all the normal tilt/height/rock features. However, I keep seeing gaming chairs pop up in ads, youtube videos and what not (damn google targeted advertising  ), and I just don't see what justifies the higher price. Is this just another case of companies cashing in by calling something a "gaming" product, or are these $350-$500 (Canadian Dollar) chairs really worth it?

Hey everyone. Heres a frustrating one for you today. I decided to play Dirt 3 and wanted to use my brothers Xbox 360 Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Itallia wheel and pedals. Windows kicked up an error about not being able to find a driver. After about an hour of searching and navigating Thrustmasters terrible site, neither can I. Heres where you come in. If you have a driver/solution to this error, please share it with me. Thanks.

I have been saving funds for a long time now and I want to create an ultimate racing cockpit for iRacing. All I want is the Absolute best performance for a Triple 27" 2560 x 1440p (Asus ROG Swift) setup. I am by no means a pc wizard but I do know that I am going to need some massive horsepower to handle this. I have been looking into SLI Titan X's and possibly Crossfired (Sapphire 8GB) R9 295X2's, but I am at somewhat of a loss here. Whichever setup can deliver the best performance/FPS is the one I would like. Current Biuld Sheet: ASUS Rampage V Extreme ATX LGA2011-3 X99 DDR4 SLI WiFi SATA3 USB3.1 Motherboard Intel Core I7-5930K 3.70GHZ Six Core 15MB Hyperthreading LGA2011-V3 Processor Corsair Vengeance Lpx 16GB 4X4GB DDR4 DRAM 2666MHZ C16 Memory Kit 2x ASUS GeForce GTX Titan X 1075MHZ 12GB 7GHZ GDDR5 Video Cards or 2x Sapphire R9 295X2 Edition 1018MHZ 8GB GDDR5 5000MHZ Video Cards Any and all Suggestion and Help is Much Appreciated! Thank You. PS: Linus tests iRacing on his rig but would like to know how it would run a race at like at Daytona (night) with a large group of drivers... Cockpit that I will hopefully be running.

It's kinda expensive, considering TrackMania United Forever was 29,99€ for 7 environments. But hey, it's coming to consoles now, yey! Also, is it just me or is it looking quite alot like Sega AllStars Racing? It looks too "arcade-ish" - if that makes sense? I'm a bit disappointed in this. The overall appearance and gameplay looks like it should be played by 5-year-olds. Anyway, I'm a big fan of the series and might still consider getting it if they get rid of the ManiaPlanet nonsense and if it will be released on Steam. (On a side note, they mentioned Nadeo nowhere, only Ubisoft, kinda disappointing ...) EDIT: A bunch of screenshots

Got a bit of a weird question. I saw a youtube video recently in which a very well known FGC competitive gamer was showing off his custom made fightstick. Not only was this something of a masterpiece, but he said that it would apparently work on all platforms! He went further to state that it would plug and play on PC, PS3, PS4, 360, and Xbone. He didn't state how he made that happen, only that he did not build it and that it was a very expensive custom stick made for him by a fan. Now this spiked my curiosity, as I game on literally all platforms, but I refuse to spend almost 200 bucks on a stick that isn't compatible with more than two platforms. I then started thinking that, if this was possible, then it might also be possible to do the same to a wheel, like the much heralded Logitech G series, particularly the G29 which I've been eyeing pretty hard lately. So, my question to you people out there in cyber space who are undoubtedly a good bit more intelligent than me in these matters is; how do I go about doing this to a fight stick or wheel in detail? Where would I go for detailed guides, or better yet, to pay for a custom fightstick or wheel that will work on all platforms. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I honestly can't stand this issue anymore! The constant random freezes that I keep receiving is making the game physically unplayable for me. I can handle the disconnection errors that I get when I play co-op mission with my friends. But I cannot tolerate these freezes that makes me close my game and relaunch it (which takes 5 minutes from launch to get to the world map screen). Getting my car to level 1299 is virtually impossible as I have no patience to relaunch my game every time it freezes on my 3th or 4th jump from a ramp to farm those level 50 platinum parts. This freezing issue only happens when my car is moving AND when I'm using nitro. When the game freezes, the sound still keeps running in the background and I can still hear my car and nitro accelerating. I'll then have to use my mouse and click on the game a few times to get that "not responding" box to pop up and close the game and relaunch it again from the uPlay launcher. This issue has been occurring to me ever since I got the game. I played with the keyboard and mouse in the beginning and then moved onto an Xbox 360 controller. I used Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit and am now using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and the issue went with me everywhere. I've ticker around with the settings like setting it to windowed, fullscreen or playing the game with different graphic settings. My Windows is fully updated and I have the latest stable NVIDIA driver. If anybody has any suggestions or advice for me, please tell me and I'll do it right away. I love this game and I really want to keep playing it with all my friends. My following system specs are... (incase anybody ask) Intel Core i5-750 2.66Ghz Quad-Core Processor Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler Asus P7P55D Pro ATX LGA1156 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Corsair Force LS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Hitachi Deskstar 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card Corsair Air 540 ATX Mid Tower Case Corsair RM 450W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply LG DVD/CD Writer I've contacted uPlay support and hope they reply back to me with a solution.

Does anyone know if DXRACER chairs are any good, and if so which ones are for what type of people? Also, is that the brand to go with or do other companies make similar/better chairs for better?
