Seems like this error is delaying startup by like 30s. It says no keyboard detected during boot but the keyboard is clearly detected since it's lit up even before and after like 5 seconds it moves on from that screen and loads up normally, so while technically I can proceed normally, it's a bit annoying to see an error when there shouldn't be one. It started happening after the last time I cleaned the pc and disconnected and reconnected the cables.

I'm trying to fix a Z170 system that will not post. It all started when Minecraft was opened, which caused the PC to crash completely. Since then I have done the following: Rebooted the PC DRAM light would blink but would not go to VGA light Removing GPU made it to POST with a "overclocking failed error" This persisted through multiple reboots until I switched from Asus Optimal to Normal After doing so, the original DRAM light blinking issue came back (running on integrated graphics at that point). Clearing CMOS did not fix the issue I tried with each stick of memory in a variety of slots. No dice. I am currently reseating the CPU but I doubt this will fix it. Is this a bad motherboard issue?

NAS build: * Xeon E5-2666 V3 * Huananzhi X99-8M Gaming * 32GB ECC memory (2x16GB ) * EVGA GTX 960 * Coolermaster V650S PSU problem: * NO SIGNAL I suspect the GPU might have died or the motherboard x16 slot is faulty.

Quick thanks to @Paul Thexton for showing the article but mate, it could've been its own post Summary Say hello to a facebook smartwatch leak, with it possibly having cellular connections, rounded corners, detachable bands and a fucking camera notch. (Note: This is a leak and may not be the final product) Quotes My thoughts You can usually get rid of all the notch problem shenanigans thingy with slight UI adjustments most of the time. How would you do that on a smartwatch though? Either way, hehe notch on smartwatch Sources Laptopmag article macrumors article techcrunch article (has extra info me thinks)

I did a fresh win10 install on my brother's laptop (dell w/ 7300hq/1050) and after downloading csgo and starting it, I noticed it ran fine until the cpu started throttling to 1 ghz and the game dropped to 10 fps. I monitored the temps and they are alright, power did't exceed 28w (pl1 is 45w) so it's unclear to me what caused those stutters. I'll attach a pic of the clocks during gaming. Also, on a cpu stress test it didn't do that, instead it stayed locked at 3.1 ghz. How do I stop this from happening?

Last post got ignored because it was too long and wordy, so here we go again, ill make it short and sweet... Is $2,549 CAD ($2,111 USD) (before taxes) too much money for a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with 5800H, RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, 2x 1 TB NVME? I feel like i got ripped off somehow and I haven't even received it yet.

Hey guys, I just assembled my new PC however there is no signal from the monitor. I've used Display Port and HDMI on the GPU, reinserted the RAM, checked the CPU is working and is not damaged. My GTX 1060 fan works the the logo lights on. It also turns on the monitor when I start the computer, but there is no signal found Specs Ryzen 7 5800x GTX 1060 6G 2x8 16G 3200MHZ CORSAIR PLAT. DOMINATOR RAM, INTEL XMP CERTIFIED ASUS TUF B550M-PLUS MOBO 3TB WD BLACK HDD 256G SSD I think it might be the ram. It comes from an old build I gutted a couple years ago, however I looked online and Intel XMP says it still works for AMD systems. Other than that, I am totally lost. The CPU is hot, I took off the cooler to check. I hear beeps from my MOBO and it gets to the point where it has a VGA light that lights up. That's all I'm totally dumbfounded. Edit- Tried to clear CMOS did not work.

Hello, I'm new to this forum so I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section. A while ago I installed Linux Ubuntu on dual boot with my windows 10. Everything worked fine, but yesterday I think I created a new partition or renamed one and today when I turned on my computer I got this error: now I'm not a complete tech noob, I tried getting some help online and it didn't work. Here's what I tried: -checking discs with ls command and then trying to set a new one with set boot and set prefix commands -I made a windows 10 bootable USB drive and booted the automatic repair -I tried running a command in CMD, forgot the exact name, it was supposed to repair the booting sequence I'll try to respond to every comment asap as I need my PC to work for tomorrow.

Just re-installed windows. everything looked normal until i put the Microsoft Edge shortcut in the trashcan. the background immediately went black. I went to look at the personalize settings and it'll only let me change the accent color of menus. it doesn't even have options to change the backdrop. I ensured that windows is activated. what the hell is going on?

Hey, I'm building a PC to surprise my mom but I couldn't find any cases that match her office without looking too flashy. Also my cousin would litterally stick to it if it barely resembles a gaming PC.

Hello everyone! I have a problem with an AsRock B450 Gaming K4. After installing Valorant and the computer restarted, the board won't find any internal drives. I've both reset the BIOS by removing the battery and also updated the BIOS. It still couldn't find any drives. After letting it be over night, it turned on like nothing had happened! YAY! NO! Valorant still complained about needing a restart because the Anti-Cheat wasn't active, although I have a pretty old driver and it said this could be a cause too. After updating the GPU driver and restarting again, I have the same problem again, no internal drives can be found and it just boots straight to the BIOS. After a few hours today, it could boot again, YAY! But NO! as another restart couldn't boot again (no internal drives found). Booting into a Linux distro I can't see the drives either (obviously, but I tried). This looks like an irregular problem, which can be hard to diagnose. I really can't think of anything else to do, except buying a new board. That is, unless anyone here has any input/help for the problem.

Hey guys, I‘m new to this Forum and desperately need your help. Yesterday, I connected a new HDD to my computer. When I reconnected the cable of my PSU and tried to boot my computer, it didn‘t Turn on whatsoever. Only my keyboard and mouse have blinking LEDs as long as the PC is connected to an Outlet. My First thought was to take out the HDD I had just installed, which wasn‘t fixing the error. I‘ve also tried other troubleshooting steps like waiting 2 hours with the PSU Switch set to off and Power disconnected, replacing my MoBo cr2032 battery, trying to Remove all drives and even swapping out my graphics Card. I‘ve also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the 24pin MB connector and swapping RAM sticks. All of the steps above didn‘t help. Since I am a photographer and videographer, i Need a PC to edit and earn money. Do you guys think my Motherboard/PSU is Fried? My System has Been running Just Fine for about 8 years now. Thanks for helping a PC Noob out. Specsheet: Intel I7 3820 AsRock x97 MB 16Gb LPX 1600mhz RAM GTX 1050ti Samsung 860 250Gb SSD Bequiet Bronze plus 500 Watt Dark ‘something‘ PSU Windows 10 Pro latest update

Hi all, My brother is looking for a new headset with a mic and without any noise cancelling or sound dampening. This is because he otherwise is going to scream to hard when playing games and stuff I've done some research but there aren't many headphones these days that don't have noise cancelling. So I thought maybe people on here have some ideas? Thanks in advance!

The problem is that my onboard networkcard is capping my internet speed in some applications. But it isn't capped at one speed. For example Firefox gets 130Mbit, Bethesda launcher 170Mbit and steam for some reason all 225Mbit download. My laptop is capable to get in every application full speed though. the networkspeed is 225Mbit down and 20Mbit up. However the cable does provide the full speed with no issues on my laptop. I'm using two cables with a coupler in between. The cable from the router to the coupler is a CAT5e and the second one is a CAT6. The coupler is capable of delivering the full speed. The cablelength is 35 meters. everything seems fine without the coupler. I tried diffrent ones but nothing solved the issue. trying to force the card accepting gigabit didn't work either. At this point i don't know what should i do next. Perhaps somebody can help me.

Hi there, This is my first proper full assembly build, and I'm having trouble getting it to post. My specs are as follows: Motherboard: MSI X470 Gaming Pro CPU: AMD 3900X Cooler: Dark Rock Pro 4 Memory: Gskill Trident Z Neo F4-3600C16D-32GTZN PSU: Corsair AX860i GPU: MSI 2080ti Gaming Trio Storage: Samsung 970 EVO plus In detail. I power my PC on, all the fans and RGB light up. My monitor turns on (it seems to react to the fact that there's a Display Port input) however it gives me a message with "no input" after which the screen goes back to sleep. I did test the monitor seperately, it works. One of the things I think might be in play is that I have a GPU with 2 x 8 pin slot, and 1 x 6 pin slot. However I do not have dedicated PCI-E 6 pin power connector with my PSU so I am using an 8 pin that splits off into a 6 pin and a 2 pin, and simply not using the 2 pin. Don't know if this could affect my GPU. The same is said for my CPU power connector on my motherboard. I have 2, next to each other. One 8 pin and one 4 pin. I'm not sure wether I need the 4 pin but just to be sure I plugged in another 8 pin that splits off in 2, and again not using the remaining 4 pin. I also disassembled my cooler and checked the CPU for any damage, but I could not find any. I tried running different DIMM slots for my memory and using only 1 stick. I tried pusing the CMOS reset button on my motherboard. I tried different power cables for my CPU to see if any are dead. I haven't tried different power cables for my GPU as the RGB lights up and the fans start spinning immediately. That's about as far as I got, would really appreciate some help! Thanks.

Hey Guyz.. Sorry for my bad english.. i have a r9 380 4gb saphire model.. which is running on every system except mine.. i have i5 4790 with 8 gb ram and a 500w psu.. i purchased it 3 days ago and when i bought it it was running fine whole night.. but after that night i tried everything but it is not giving me a display.. the on board intel hd is working and giving me display and through that i found that my gpu is not showing in the task manager.. i clear the cmos and unistall the drivers through ddu.. an hour ago i requested my friend to bring a gpu which is quite old 1 gb ddr3 card.. don't know the name of that card.. but it give me display without any issue.. now my concern is that do i need a better psu? my current psu is antec 500w and i also try to replace it with great wall 500w.. it stil give no display.. fans and all things are working but i am not getting display.. if someone can confirm me that so i will buy a new powersupply.. and also wanted to mention that i tried my card on a different system which has thermal take 650w psu and it worked there without any issue.. but the person wasn't giving me his psu for checking.. that's why i wanted to make sure is it a psu which is making issues?

I've cleared the CMOS, swapped out memory, dropped down to one stick of mem, and vice versa. I've checked all my connection, checked my monitor, tried the on board hdmi, and removing the video card. I'm at a loss for getting this thing to post. Any ideas? Thanks. Edit: board is not installed in the case yet. Additionally, stock CPU fan and video card fan both spin, no beeps from mobo.
