raxx reacted to webbson in dbrand, worst customer support ever? (Edit: Resolved, support is not worst anymore)
Hey!
Been a long time viewer on YouTube but has never felt the need to register here as we have many great tech forums in Sweden. However what brings me here today is about dbrand, which is one of your sponsors. Actually your videos that made me buy there
I ordered their skins for my iPhone 6 Plus and it was received quickly. However when I fitted it on my phone I realised that the middle part of the skin was too short. I emailed them at once on the 23rd of november and got a reply on the 25th of november asking for pictures so they could resolve it. I replied with pictures on the 27th and since then no reply... I sent another email at the 7th of january but haven't heard anything yet.
Pictures of my LTT colored iPhone and the size issue is attached to this post. Sorry for the potato quality of the pictures. But as you can see everything is lined up as it should be and the middle part is still to small.
What shall I do?
Cheers,
Tom
Edit:
After this post they've finally answered and are sending me full refund + replacement so now I'm happy about their service again. Apparently one of their new hires falsely marked my support case as closed.

raxx reacted to Revan654 in A few Questions About CaseLabs Mercury S8 and Mercury S8S
Not everyone is comfortable in doing Water Cooling. Plus I don't like the idea having to drain the system once a year.

raxx reacted to 0ld_Chicken in Q code feature on motherboards ..it it worth it?
I love mine on myz97 classified, it monitors cpu temps after it posts. On that note, i wouldn't pay too much extra and it's really not necessary

raxx reacted to airdeano in Q code feature on motherboards ..it it worth it?
once the system is built, pretty much a non-item. maybe for easier troubleshooting
if something does come up, but otherwise you'll still have to do some investigating
into what/why failure diagnostics. q-code makes the starting point easier to identify.

Its not a "must have" but its deffently nice to have on boards to be able to trouble shoot easier

raxx reacted to spacealiens in [Build Log] 5930k, Mercury s8s, Watercooling
I haven't updated in a while, I've been really busy with work, installing new flooring in our computer room and building a desk. Once I get the pictures off my camera, I'll post them. The Mercury S8S looks fantastic, I'm glad I went with the windowed top. I was, however, a bit disappointed with quality control. Some of my pedestal pieces had bent connecting tabs. I didn't take pictures, and they bent back with a bit of muscle and some pliers, but I'd expect near perfect quality based on the cost. I'm still satisfied, though. As soon as I get my next package from Performance-Pcs, I'll begin mounting things in the pedestal. I was also thinking about using flexible tubing in the base to make it a bit easier to disconnect. We'll see, though. Also, I bought the RVE and using my X99-Pro as a workstation PC for my Father as a birthday/father's day gift (he's a portrait photographer and is using an old first gen 4 core i7.
Yeah, it's sad, I had already purchased a few items from there previously.

raxx reacted to Tsuki in No video with new pc build..
take the gpu out and plug the monitor into the motherboard, see if you get video

raxx reacted in No video with new pc build..
Plug the cables into the GPU if you haven't.
Make sure monitor works and is plugged in.
-
raxx reacted in No video with new pc build..
I was speaking of the video cables not power cables. But that is good too. It sounded to me like the video cables were in the mobo, which need to be in the GPU.
-
raxx reacted to stconquest in No video with new pc build..
Try a different cable, an HDMI or DVI. Remove the GPU and try HDMI on the mobo as well.
-
raxx reacted in No video with new pc build..
If you have a GPU plugged in the motherboard will no longer send video. All video cables need to be plugged into the GPU. If you unplug the GPU and the mobo does not display video then that is bad.

Holy cow @GoodBytes, are you trying to set the world record for longest post ever? I know it's a review but...heck! I think your post redefines the "Too Long; Didn't Read (TL;DR)" acronym. And I thought I made long posts.......or maybe I just haven't looked at many other member reviews.

raxx reacted to Whorax in Why the ludicrous price difference amongst retailers for the K70/K95 RGB?
Why are different online retailers selling the K70/K95 RGB for such different prices?
Corsair has the Vengeance K70 RGB red switches priced at $170 here: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-k70-rgb-fully-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-anodized-black-cherry-mx-red
Newegg has the exact same keyboard for a whopping $290 here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823816022
Amazon has the exact same keyboard for an ever more expensive $300!: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Keyboard-CH-9000063-NA/dp/B00KX8OJK6
Newegg then has the K95 RGB but with brown switches and the tramp stamp for $190 here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823816027
What the hell is this about?

The Corsair Gaming K70 RGB mechanical keyboard - yes, it is finally here! But after numerous production delays and with a market that is soon to be filled with competition, can the new "Corsair Gaming" line keep our attention?

raxx reacted to LinusTech in Corsair RGB Keyboards only capable of 512 colors
This is why whenever i don't forget I say "theoretically" when a manufacturer claims 16.8M colour combinations.
Just LOOK at the colours cycling on any RGB product you own. Most of them support much less than the Corsair RGB. I'm not saying misleading customers is good. I'm just saying that for this particular thing it's not new AT ALL.
