None. There would be no difference between that setup and a setup where you just installed everything directly to a single SSD.

And the fact that I'd be going from a single SSD to a RAID array wouldn't cause any issues?

Yes, if you use a cloning software such as AOMEI Backupper (though version 2.X requires you to pay for premium to clone a drive, you can still clone a partition fine, version 1.x doesn't have this limitation).
I doubt any issues would be created unless those symbolic links rely on drive letters if on Windows, though I doubt you are on Windows. That may create issues if you are on Linux.

@Baldwin90
1. I beleve you MAY just get away with putting in a H220X in the roof and a Slim rad and Slim fans in the front. It would be tight, so you may have to get creative in mounting the front rad.
2.Again this is going to be tight, If you have the case already, I'd measure the distance from the rear wall to the HDD cages, and if it is under 55mm, you should be able to squeeze in a slim 120 rad and fan. You also want to have the fittings on the bottom for this one too for access.

Baldwin90 reacted to BoltActionWaffle in True 7.1 with on-board sound
I'm pretty sure it's not the m50x, not sure if it was in the past either. Hd558/518s are the most common recommendation, and for good reason. But the most common closed back headphone for $100 is the m40x and $200 possibly the dt770 pros. -

"True 7.1 surround sound"... Lol. Have you ever wondered how you hear differences in your surrounding environment when you only have two ears? The reason why the turtle beaches are bad, is simply because of the headset itself. They're closed back headphones, with a miniscule soundstage, bad imaging I presume and probably bad sound quality which doesn't help with hearing audio ques such as footsteps. 7.1 and 5.1 surround is just marketing for headphones. 7.1 and 5.1 aren't just random numbers for the sake of rating how good the surround experience is. For less than $200 you can buy hd558s paired with a mod mic 4.0, which should perform better in every way. You can use virtual surround if you want but if you haven't noticed by now, when it's not enabled I'm pretty sure its not just left and right separation.

I'm going to have to tell you to buy this forum's headphone of choice (Unless it has changed and no one has told me); The ATH-M50X

Baldwin90 got a reaction from mrthuvi in [PSA] Chrome is killing your GPU thermals
This doesn't happen to everyone. The GPU would go down to 50MHz with only one card, but once you have them running in SLI Chrome running in the background would not let the GPU lower the clock speed, due to it forcing the card to run in 3D mode. Check with EVGA if you don't believe me. The were the ones that pointed out the issue.

Try using SlimDrivers.
Also make sure the cable is plugged in. Not patronising, but 7/10 times it tends to be the case

doesn't matter which one you make primary you're limited to the lowest amount of VRAM.
-
Baldwin90 reacted to Paralectic in SLI similar cards
Your information is incorrect, you certainly can SLI GPU 1 with 2GB vRam with GPU 2 with 4GB vRam, it will only be able to use 2gb vRam but you can without a doubt SLI these two cards.

Baldwin90 reacted to hiyayhi in SLI similar cards
It would probably be better to sell both cards and buy yourself something new like a 760 or 750ti.
You could use the 1gb card for physX but depending on how many games you play that are actually physX enabled I'm not sure you will see much to any performance benefit.
