im waiting for Broadwell and upgrade my GTX 770 to a GTX 1070

Translation: We fucking lied about the 4gb spec. 

i turn CBR off and use quality 10 with 15000kb/s at 1080p 60fps, i think i might bump it to 20000 or even 25000 just for a bit more quality
EDIT: this is with CPU encoding because it looks better

This is a little attempt at trying to revise the Linus Tech Tips intro. I'm trying to give myself little projects in order to improve my kinetic typography skills & hopefully linustechtips don't mind me creating this video.

The 4690k is the better value. Go with the 4790k only if you need the extra threads.

for a decent motherboard and an i7 is $600
EDIT: GPUS are worse $800-$900 for a GTX 980

The AMD processsor is:
 
- Hot as hell
- Requires a very strong cooler to even run normally, practically adding to the cost
- Requires a very beefy board, again adding to the cost
- Consumes a lot of power
- Is basically a very good FX-8350 OC'd to hell
- Still has very poor Single-threaded performance
- It may have more cores but the way AMD CPU's work with modules it's practically a Quad-core with HT.

todays computers have enough power to do that its just no game company is spending time or resources developing it
