OBS Local Recording

Go to solution Solved by Brandogg255,

i turn CBR off and use quality 10 with 15000kb/s at 1080p 60fps, i think i might bump it to 20000 or even 25000 just for a bit more quality

EDIT: this is with CPU encoding because it looks better

Hey everyone,

Just looking for some advice on whether a standard 7200rpm hard drive is enough (have 4x 2TB drives so amount of storage aint a problem) to be able to record 1080p60p iracing videos with respectable quality or will i have to upgrade to a big ssd for the faster write performance? Is it simple to setup and record teamspeak chat aswell?

Any recommendations on quality and encoding settings? (i7 3930k with Nvidia GTX780 3gb, 16gb ram, windows 8.1)

Regards

Scott

NVEC with like 25k bitrate saving to mp4. you're good to go pretty much.
