a bitfenix formula gold, corsair txm, or the phanteks amp should be available for under €90

The Corsair CXm is a solid choice, even if you upgrade the GPU, 650W is a lot, you could power a 10900k and 2080Ti with a quality 650W unit.
It's a solid Tier B+ PSU.

baeni got a reaction from Eighjan in Looking for good valued PSU
@BlueScope819 uhmn no, not every PSU is compatible with every GPU. For example I have a PSU with 1x 4-pin graphics connector which is not compatible with my GPU which needs 2x 6-pin.
@emosun @Eighjan I actually misread.. I thought the PSU I mentioned has 1x 6+2-pin connector but it has 4x 6+2-pin connector which is absolutely compatible with my GPU.
Sorry for the time waste...
// off topic @Eighjan I love ur signature!

baeni got a reaction from Origami Cactus in Ryzen 5 3600 minimum RAM support?
@minibois @Tigerleon @BlueScope819 @Fasauceome Perfect, thanks y'all!
@BlueScope819 yeah I will buy a 2x8GB 3200mh/z kit in the future but I just need some temporary RAM for now. I will return it anyway so it doesn't need to be a good deal. I went with a single 8GB 2666 mh/z kit for 30€ now. As I said - Just for test purposes and not for actual usage.

4GB are generally the lowest capacity DIMMs you'll find, which thus is the minimum you RAM supported. But if you can find 2GB DIMMs or smaller they'll likely work too.
But that doesn't mean you should get 4GB or whatever, you need to get however is needed for your work on the computer. Generally 8GB or more is preferred.

baeni got a reaction from wall03 in Just ordered my new Mobo & CPU
I do have a gfx card and a power supply. I ordered these products without the other components, because I will get the other products cheaper from another shop. If the products will arrive damages, I will return them. No problem. But indeed - It makes sense to order everything together to have the highest chance to receive everything in good condition.
My mobo and cpu will be delivered in one packet together tho so that should be okay.
atm I cannot buy the ram I am planning to use cuz my budget does not allow me to. Maybe I should consider going the bad way and buying a kit to test my mobo and cpu, and then return the kit after.

Don't waste money buying RAM you won't actually use. Just buy the kit of RAM you were planning on using.
It's often pointless buying PC components individually. A motherboard by itself is just a paper weight. You're better off saving up and buying all the essential components at once.
Keep in mind the Ryzen 3600 does not have integrated graphics so you will also require a dedicated graphics card for the system to boot. And obviously a power supply if you don't already have one.

just buy one stick of ram and you will buy another one when you ll habe the cash. You can also buy some good and used ones. I dont see a reason an "old" ram to not work

Not yet I think
But it won't be more than 150 dollars

You can save some money on The GPU. There are cheaper options by other manufacturers starting with ~500€.

Neither
A tomhawk has a 3 stage 6+2 phase power design and it's a whole lot better than these
Also it's cheaper

I don't really have a prefence, just get the cheaper one if they have similar performance/VRM/OC power etc
