You can just connect the nics, setup a static ip on boath and it will work fine.
this isn't a thing anymore, normal cables work fine.

    BIOS only

So I'll be safe using EZ Flash 2 in BIOS without changing the name?

none of this really matters if it goes bad as I have flashback but just to save the hassle.

Yes, that 970 EVO will fit. It looks like it accepts 2260/2280 (60mm and 80mm) m.2 NVMe drives.

It is exactly what the game says - adjust until the darkest symbol is barely visible. if you cannot see it go up a tick. if the logo is still too bright adjust your monitor's brightness. but it doesn't hurt to crank the in-game brightness if you cannot see or have to strain to see dark areas.

remove the i7 950 and see if any of the contact points are damaged, then inspect the motherboard socket to see if you bent any pins during installation.if you don't see anything then try the 920 again.

I've only heard good things about the Corsair SP2500 but they are 2.1 so if you like your 5.1 - 7.1's more than amazing 2.1's get something else hah. I would recommend some sennheiser HD headphones as in my experience they have been the best.

No worries. Its worth talking to Corsair Live Chat if you can get online at the right time. The cooler itself works fine and is a very good product Corsair have just recently cocked up a couple firmware updates and compatibility with Corsair Link. Definitely go through Ebuyer in the end if your warranty with them covers it. I got my unit from Novatech (UK) and they have a 1 year warranty which meant they would ship it back to Corsair. I went all the way through Corsairs tech support and they issued an RMA but in the UK you have to ship the unit to the Netherlands which would cost around £20-30 which I wasn't prepared to do without exploring all my options so I went to my retailer and they said they would send it back to Corsair.

I had broken my h80i by pulling out a fan connector the day I bought it. Corsair offered to replace it immediately. So at least they're quick about issues.

I had a similar problem with my H100i although it was after updating the firmware. If your device is still showing up in Corsair Link then its not that badly broken and may well be just the LED which is good. You could update the firmware which may fix the issue however it may also break the cooler further which has happened to several people including myself. The fault when updating the firmware is that the controller inside the H100i breaks and that means that you cannot control your device at all and it eventually stops being detected by your computer completely, although it still functions as far as cooling goes.

I have RMA'd my cooler at the moment. Although I took it back to my retailer and they sent it to Corsair for me because that meant I didn't have to pay for shipping to Corsair.

Here is a link to Firmware 1.0.5 which may fix your issue or may break your unit further and then your only option will be to RMA.
