can you please show an example of how a ticket would like when escalating it to 2nd like support. Like the lay out and what should also be included into the ticket

I'll keep it short and to the point. Intel have booted their new GPU for the first time. Presumably up to now they're working on simulations or other prototype solutions. It is a significant milestone that physical hardware is working. We now wait and see how performance goes and if we have a meaningful 3rd player in the GPU market.

Pay (for the "work" I do, I'm employed by the gov't) is stupid high, no overtime, no weekends, the perks are amazing, plus I get to play video games most of the day because we have nothing to do all day.
 
Downside? Dealing with the weapons-grade stupidity that only the gov't can produce.

Interested in cloud computing? There is a course on udemy that prepares you for AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate for $11 USD. Also the exam is only $150 USD. It can definitely open doors for you, especially lucrative doors lol. 

Work is honestly kind of easy, pay is very good, and it's something I enjoy.

What are you career plans if you don't mind me asking? Do you plan to stay as a help desk person in the foreseeable future?

working helpdesk in a consultancy with some.. "special" customers..
 
best thing is every day is something new, just this week we had a client come in with a problem that made the entire office go "wait.. what now?"
 
also, the way people communicate with their IT partner is absolutely hilareous.. they go third person level of formal, and then forget that their significant other's name also shows up in our mailbox as "sexy knight"..
 
bonus is that some of our clients actually see us as wizards

Telecommute. The work is challenging and further hones my problem solving skills every day. We have a wide berth in terms of SLA (Service Level Agreement) to get the job done correctly instead of emphasizing only speed of resolution.  99.99999% of the time, I do not have to work with end users. ? I'm a Business Systems Consultant.

I work as a network engineer and my job basically involves trying to break solutions and other things and tell the customer what I broke
I get paid fairly well, have great coworkers, and it's a wonderful environment to work in. I don't think I've ever really dreaded going in unless I had to do some all-day training which is very rare (thankfully).

I currently work as a DevOps Engineer at my company but i come from a heavy Ops background. What i love about my job is that i get to work from home 100% of the time. Plus the pay is VERY lucrative! 

paid really well, and also my coworkers were a lot of fun.

I work as an IT Helpdesk agent.

What I love about my job is that I get to talk to other techs and I get different perspectives on how to troubleshoot and fix stuff. And of course, the pay is nice.
 
 

If you worked in network / hardware maintenance, it's pretty boring if everything runs as intended.
You can sleep all day if you want to, unless there's a hardware problem.

It depends really... but if I do manage to find a better opportunity, I'll probably jump ship.
