Well if your into overclocking, there's going to be more headroom from the Nvidia, and there are much more features just outside the performance that can win or lose the choice between the gpu's.So the choice is really preference as well, do you want some extra features and a noticeable difference in performance or do you just want to save money to invest in another part of your pc?

again what dafuck are you talking about.

you can already use a rtx 2070 super on 1440p with raytracing on and have enough frames.

I already had issues with Rufus. It doesn't work great on some USB flash drive. And that is assuming you pick the right options for the system you plan to boot it from.
Use Media Creation Tools to prepare the USB flash drive, it does all the work for you and properly.
If it fails, it is because:
     - Your USB flash drive does not support booting from it.
     - Your USB flash drive needs to be formatted differently.

For UEFI based system before install Windows 10, make sure that, under the UEFI:
UEFI mode is enabled CSM (Compatibility Support Module) is disabled (might be tied with the above) On your way:
SATA controller is set to AHCI mode (if no RAID) Secure Boot is enabled Fast Boot is enabled (or set to the highest speed if you have that option) Delay POST is set to 0sec or disabled RAM is set correctly. I don't know the equivalent term for AMD systems, but under Intel, make sure that XMP profile is set to Profile 1, and not Default, to ensure that the RAM is clocked and timed correctly. Boot drive is set to the one that starts with "UEFI:" before the drive name, if you have the option When you boot from your USB flash drive, make sure you pick "UEFI: <flash drive name>", and not just "<flash drive name>"

If CSM was enabled, or UEFI was disabled (can be called: Legacy, or BIOS Mode):
Please note that the drive, in Windows Setup, needs to have all it partitions deleted, and the drive formatted, so that it converts it from MBR to GPT.

i got this error message longtime ago but when i mean longtime ago it was like in 2008, and if i remember it was about driver incompatibility instead of the ram..

You only need chipset, audio and LAN. And usually not even those as Windows installs drivers along with updates. You need enterprise version of Windows to get long term support version. It is not for consumers.

Prime x570 pro is also an option, but it costs more.
If you want a smaller monitor, then I'll recommend with this one..

I have basically shaved off all the excess costs on all the components.
That Mobo has really good vrms and has Intel lan. I'll recommend a 3600mhz ram kit, though I have recommended a 3200mhz one. That crucial p1 nvme drive is way faster than regular sata drives. Why to skip it when it is available at the same price. Meshify c is one of my favorite cases. It has got excellent airflow and looks pretty sexy. 650 watts decent PSU should be plenty for this build.

By thermal paste I hope you meant for CPU not GPU. If you means to change GPU thermal paste, you are entering a whole different world mate.
PC parts are getting more and more efficient nowadays and i haven't seen ppl recommend 750W power supply for a while in this forum. But it's your choice.
I am not very familiar with x570 boards quality. but I have good experience with Asus and asrock. you should be fine.

I meant "make it work" in the sense that if you can afford a 500GB version, there isn't any major problems with the SSD itself, sorry about the minor confusion there.

I recommend a Crucial MX500 in 500GB if you can make it work, it's a highly regarded and well-priced SATA SSD.

    1. thermal paste is not really needed, unless you are doing serious overclocking. CPU coolers come with decent paste already.
    2. a good quality 550-650W power supply is all you need. 750W is overkill.
    3. buy any SSD from well known brand ie. samsung, crucial, kingston etc. and you will be fine. get 512Gb
4.if you are keeping this setup for long time, get a x570 CPU motherboard. it has more features that may come in handy in the future. but these features are not necessary for now.

RX580 should be plenty enough unless you have other games that need more.

That opens you up to cheaper CPUs as you don’t need as much power.

If you really want more power and have the cash, just buy what you can.
