Need help about a futur config.

Micropoint

Hello everyone, its time for me to build a real computer after a long time using..... Laptop ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Here is the configuration ..

CaseCooler Master MasterCase H500

thermal paste Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut

CPU ventirad. Noctua NH-U12 A

Screen ? Dont know yet tbh... Maybe the benq2540 240 hertz. Dont tell me its useless i have skill its for csgo i want that shit. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Will mostly play at 1080p resolution, i am not a fan of higher resolution.

CPU Ryzen 3700 x

Graphic card will be the 5700 XT from Sapphire.

RAM G skill above 3000 hertz 2x8 go

About the SSD ? to be honnest... no idea...

HDD Seagate or western digital 2 To i think.

Alimentation. Seasonic prime ultra platinum. 750 W. is it good enough ? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

OS. Win 10 LTSC version optimised.

Creative Sound Blaster Z as a external sound card, yeah i want an external sound card. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

 Hyper x cloud 2.

mouse. Zowie EC2-A

BUT....... About the 570 motherboard.... am kinda stuck.... What about the ASUS PRIME X570-PRO or ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate ? ...

Also i need your help about that.

Do every of these composant will avoid bottleneck ? .. I know i could go for a 1440p screen resolution but as said i dont really care about higher resolution.

It will be mostly for csgo thats why i want a 240 hertz i have the monney and i dont care at all. + heavy video rendering. And other game for sure like for exemple cyberpunk next year, or heavy modded game.

Thanks !

RX580 should be plenty enough unless you have other games that need more.

That opens you up to cheaper CPUs as you don’t need as much power.

If you really want more power and have the cash, just buy what you can.

1. thermal paste is not really needed, unless you are doing serious overclocking. CPU coolers come with decent paste already.

2. a good quality 550-650W power supply is all you need. 750W is overkill.

3. buy any SSD from well known brand ie. samsung, crucial, kingston etc. and you will be fine. get 512Gb

4.if you are keeping this setup for long time, get a x570 CPU motherboard. it has more features that may come in handy in the future. but these features are not necessary for now.

Hi and thanks a lot.

i prefer to change the thermal past from the GPU directly. edit from cpu

750 watts is in your opinion overkill ? i prefer to get a bit more and to be safe. i have kinda a no limit budget, well at least up to around 2500 € = 2774 USD

About the SSD i will maybe go for Kingston or crucial thanks about that. ❤️

And yes its a full investment configuration.

So as a 570 mobo. what about that one ? I know we should avoid MSI as motherboard, i heard lot of problem.

I recommend a Crucial MX500 in 500GB if you can make it work, it's a highly regarded and well-priced SATA SSD.

I meant "make it work" in the sense that if you can afford a 500GB version, there isn't any major problems with the SSD itself, sorry about the minor confusion there.

Ho ok ^^ i get it.

Well its only 75 € here 83,25 usd so hell yeah !

Thanks  !

For the rest of the configuration, is all of these composant gonne be happy together ?

Even if the alimentation is overkill. I like to get more watt as a protection, 4k 60 fps renderin video can take lot of ressource, we never know. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

+ its does only use the watts the computer need not a full 750 watts all the time.

I still need to find out about the motherboard.

By thermal paste I hope you meant for CPU not GPU. If you means to change GPU thermal paste, you are entering a whole different world mate.

PC parts are getting more and more efficient nowadays and i haven't seen ppl recommend 750W power supply for a while in this forum. But it's your choice.

I am not very familiar with x570 boards quality. but I have good experience with Asus and asrock. you should be fine.

I have basically shaved off all the excess costs on all the components.

  • That Mobo has really good vrms and has Intel lan.
  • I'll recommend a 3600mhz ram kit, though I have recommended a 3200mhz one.
  • That crucial p1 nvme drive is way faster than regular sata drives. Why to skip it when it is available at the same price.
  • Meshify c is one of my favorite cases. It has got excellent airflow and looks pretty sexy.
  • 650 watts decent PSU should be plenty for this build.

But if the

Prime x570 pro is also an option, but it costs more.

If you want a smaller monitor, then I'll recommend with this one..

want to thank you again for the people who took the time here to help me really appreciate that.

I am good with computer rendering video security and stuff but when it come to select the composant am not so good. :)

Its high profile ram, wont it be a problem about that cpu ventirad also ?

Because to be honnest id prefet to stay with the Noctua NH-D15.

But i want the best part for that pc, so if the dark pro is better i will go for it.

I am just waiting for a response from you as you seems to know well what you'r talking about. ^^

That Alienware monitor is pretty good. My girlfriend's brother has that monitor.

Noctua nh d15 is pretty similar to dark rock pro 4 in cooling. Also the dark rock looks way better than the ugly noctua (jk).
