Seems like i was able to fix this. Should anybody else have the same issue (and not just in Plex), i fixed by accessing the Nvidia Control Panel, Manage 3D Settings, "Program Settings" tab, select the affected program in the drop-down menu, and change "Monitor Technology" from "G-Sync" to "Fixed Refresh" and set "Preferred Maximum Refresh Rate" to Highest Available.
Then download Nvidia Profile Inspector, in the drop-down menu select the affected app (if it's not there, just click on the "sun" icon to create a new profile and then the Add Program button to go look for the program's exe), scroll down until you see the G-Sync stuff, and set it all to Off or, if available, Force Off.
That fixed it completely it seems, without the need of disabling G-Sync for everything else as well.

You need Windows 11. It tracks and restores everything.

    Artisan mousepads.

I have the Endgame Gear MPC 890 and I clean it with a soft clothes brush, a microfiber cloth (with water), a lint roller and I sometimes vacuum it. It's durable, but also not the most comfortable. Superb tracking.
I had a Cooler Master mp510 before, same material but it was even rougher.

Do you have a budget in mind?

For $50 I'd recommend the Truthear Crinacle Zero IEM-s if you have a good soundcard or amp/dac or the Moondrop LAN if you use onboard Audio.
For $20 I'd say the QKZ x HBB IEM.
For $150 I'd recommend the Sennheiser HD 560s headphones.

All of them are considered wallhack-tier when it comes to multiplayer shooters.

    Well hello there fellow gamers,
hope i've posted in the right section.

Since my monitor has been showing signs of clear death, i've been looking for something new to buy, but every time i look for the differences between the aforementioned subjects, i find something different, so i thought about using the collective knowledge of us all.
Here's what i've learned so far, and please do correct me if i'm wrong:

    - Native G-Sync has an actual module installed in the monitor.
    - Native G-Sync is rated between 1Hz and the monitor's max refresh rate.
    - G-Sync Compatible is rated between 20/30/45/60Hz (it can vary) and the monitor's max refresh rate, so as long as you don't go lower than 20/30/45/60FPS, you have a tear-free experience.
    - Native G-Sync means Nvidia performed over 300 tests on said monitor, compatible is "just" certified by Nvidia (don't know the actual difference)
    - G-Sync Compatible monitors lacks ULMB (Ultra-Low Motion Blue)
    - Native G-Sync has variable overdrive

Aaaaand i believe that's pretty much it. Are there any inaccuracies in my statements? Am i missing something?
Also, on the subject of variable overdrive, as i've understood it, it prevents ghosting when your framerate gets too low.  Considering that this is the monitor i was thinking about, would i have any problem whatsoever?
I'm asking cause i've been playing with a native G-Sync monitor for the past 4 years (Asus PG279Q), so i'd hate to have some sort of downgrade.

    Thank you all so much.

Oddvar Ashborn reacted to JoostinOnline in G-Sync vs. G-Sync Compatible actual difference
Yes, it's definitely a valid review. It does seem like a solid monitor, and the refresh rate will do 144hz over DisplayPort (not sure if G Sync will work at 160hz, but that's not even reasonable at such a high resolution).

You should take a look at customer reviews though. While you'll get less technical information, it's good for looking for patterns. I checked the Amazon reviews and quite a few people complained about quality assurance issues, like dead pixels. Now that shouldn't necessarily dissuade you from buying the monitor as it is a simple matter of returning it if you get a bad one, but it's good to be aware of possibilities like that.

Both native G-Sync and G-Sync Compatible only work above a certain refresh rate, usually around 30–50 Hz or so due to limitations of LCDs (otherwise flickering is caused). To allow variable refresh rate to continue working below this limit, frames are shown twice, so that for example 25 FPS will simply show each frame twice (50 Hz) but your eye will see 25 frames per second and the G-Sync effect can be maintained down to 0 Hz. This is true for both native G-Sync and G-Sync compatible.

@CWALD @WaggishOhio383 Thank you both very much for your support and assistance. Just wanted to give you an update on the current developments. Since it looked like we had exhausted almost every possibility, i tried plugging in a different PSU, and... it worked. So the only logical thing was to buy a new one, and i got a HX1000i today. Plugged it in, and it worked (had to say goodbye to my custom sleeved cables ._.). Just had a little problem on the first start when he told me "CPU Over Voltage Error", but it apparentely fixed itself by restarting. I have then re-enabled XMP and i'm still monitoring the VCore via software cause... well, you never know.
Still no idea how my PSU was fine in the evening and dead (?) in the morning tho, i'll try to reach out to Enermax if they can do something about it, if not i'll still bring it to someone who can properly test it.

Anyway it seems all is running properly now, so thank you very much guys, much appreciated, wish you the best.
P.S. @WaggishOhio383 I though about it but it would've been weird since the MOBO is less than a year old. But thanks for thinking about it!

when your motherboard comes on, do the case fans, AIO fans, AIO pump, GPU fans, or power led come on at all?

I know you said you reseated all the plugs on the computer but did you check the monitor in case its just a display issue?

you can also try clearing your cmos

If your concerned about software then unplug the hard drive to see if it will at least post.

    A few things to try:
Clear motherboard CMOS Remove GPU and try booting with integrated graphics if possible. If you don't have integrated graphics, see if the PC will at least show signs of booting without a GPU (fans spinning, etc), even if you don't have any video out Try reseating your RAM or booting with a single stick of RAM inserted

normally I would say that software can't affect the computer turning on but windows has a way of interacting with the bios that I don't fully understand, there are ways to schedule a PC to turn on and you mentioned you were using scheduled shutdowns. I would still say the software is a long shot though and would start with the other trouble shooting steps @WaggishOhio383 and myself have suggested.

    Good luck!

Clearing CMOS is probably going to be your best bet. I just put those other options as a backup in case that doesn't work. If clearing CMOS doesn't fix it at this point, go ahead and try booting without a hard drive plugged in as @CWALD suggested.

If you've had problems with your PSU in the past it might be worth trying to swap it out if you have one available. It can be hard to troubleshoot without a spare if it is your issue.

Yea, try resetting your cmos first and maybe try reseating all of your PSU connections. After that I would guess that something is wrong with your hardware. Most likely PSU, MOBO, or CPU.

    Good luck!

try unplugging and re-plugging in all of the connectors from your power supply, including the ones plugging into the PSU itself if its modular.

Just got this idea from another post on the forum that I saw. I don't know how I didn't think of this before. You could try replacing the CMOS battery (CR2032). If the CMOS battery dies it can cause the PC to not boot like this.

Credit goes to @Applefreak for reminding me of this idea. Found it in this recent post, and realized it might be applicable to your situation as well:

I was aware that this is a thing that can happen before seeing that post, but completely forgot to recommend trying it in your situation.

If you double-click graphs on Afterburner, they will popout as their own window. Or you can set some info show as tray icons. If you want bit more, but not like with HWiNFO, then HWMonitor is worth to look at.

No idea about Commander Pro, i don't have it, i use iCUE only to disable RGB on my AIO. To disable monitoring of some sensors just right click on it and hide.

HWiNFO does conflict you have to launch it go into Settings in the Safety Tab Uncheck CorsairLink and Asetek Support. This will prevent issue with iCue.

In the settings or in sensor-only view you can filter out what you don't want, or hide it ect.
