What were non OC temps hitting? How old is the AIO?

Pull config is not good, i suggest flipping your aio fans to be push and leave the rear fan be the only exhaust
Also is the cpu delidded? Youll want to delid the cpu and use liquid metal tim for better temps
Volts wise intel 14nm spec is 1.52v so you wont need to worry about volts being a danger till mid 5g or so (if your cpu can even get that far), temps wise prefferably under 70c for stability and better ocing but 80c also works as long as you dont go over 1.5v

TheBlue217 got a reaction from Dedayog in [Help] How to clone your boot drive to a new drive?
Thanks for the tip, PC is now running off the new drive. Just have to fix some of the old drive's partitions and stuff but it's working flawlessly

Samsung Data Migration Tool walks you through it all, it's a piece of cake. Since you have a Samsung drive in the mix, it'll automatically allow you to use it. Just download it.

TheBlue217 got a reaction from APasz in Help: Thermal problems
This Friday i opened up my laptop, and have redone the thermal paste. Now all cores rarely hit above 80°C. A 20°C difference!
Thanks bro!
Now my laptop is contributing to the Folding@Home COVID-19 simulations 24/7, without me worrying about the temps!

Most likely a little too much/little tim in that specific spot on the cpu package.
Not much you can do without tearing the laptop apart.

TheBlue217 reacted to GrockleTD in RX480 better than GTX1660Ti?!
But I bet you they are. Uninstall the 480, ddu the drivers for both amd and Nvidia and then reinstall Nvidia drivers. Should perform leagues better

TheBlue217 reacted to aisle9 in RX480 better than GTX1660Ti?!
Yes, they will. Running cards that need different driver sets at the same time will screw the performance of both. Why not just run two displays through the 1660 Ti?

Also if you want to overclock cpu or ram you need a z370 or a z390 chipset so that MSI Z390-A Pro would be a good choise
