  1. LTT becomes a TV review channel. Next time LTT should review private jets, super cars and super yachts, that normal people can never afford. Sure I'll buy ten if LTT review them. LTT has became so detach from reality. Time to unsubscribe. Bye.
  2. Once you connect CPU, GPU blocks and radiator, you won't get the max flow rate as the spec suggests. Because every component will add resistance. If you have such big radiator, maybe you should consider running dual pump set-up.
  3. Think in this way. The GPU requires a stable 12v. While a good quality power supply will provide solid 12v all the time no matter what. A cheapy PSU will drop the 12v rail to 11.3v(for example) under heavy load. Then you see the game, or the PC crash. Does it make it easier to understand?
  4. I have the same Alphacool quick release in my PC, two pairs to be exact. They do add some restriction. But the pump should have enough static pressure to overcome the restriction. I use DDC pump, and have one CPU block, one GPU block and two radiators and the quick releases. At 2200rpm, it already reaches optimum flow rate of the loop.
  5. 340L/h is with zero restriction. In an actual loop, there is always some restriction from CPU block, radiators, etc. For an actual loop, anything above 120L/h is good enough. Good enough means you won't see noticeable improvement for CPU and GPU temp even if you increase the flow rate.

    Case fan control

It seems speedfan hasn't been maintained for quite sometime. I tried it recently, and can detect SSD and HDD but not any fan sensor. I was looking for a easy way to control fans based on GPU temp. Corsair Commander can do it but expensive. EK also has it own RGB/fan control hub, but no sure how buggy the software is. And then Aquacomputer Quadro controller, which is quite propular among watercooling enthusiasts.
  7. How often you see both CPU and GPU are utilised for 100% a the same time? My PC has a R5 3600 and 5700XT. Usually I see the CPU is only at 50-60% when gaming. Does it mean the 5700XT is the bottleneck? I know someone has a 5900X and RTX3090. The CPU barely reached 50% during gaming. Does it mean the 3090 is the bottleneck?
  8. No. GPU is bottlenecked when its utilisation is 50%, but the CPU is 100%.
  9. After the launch event Jensen bragged about how great the "GAMING" performance of the new cards has. Then they sell all the cards to miners. Make sense.
  10. It seems most of Europe gets zero stock since 18th Nov launch day. Shops here never have any 6800XT/6800 listed for pre-order. Your friend is a lucky guy.
  11. It isn't like AMD find out they have to launch PS5, Xbox and RX6000 two weeks ago. They know this months ago. Bad planning is inexcusable.
  12. If your main concern is GPU temp. Why not simply replace the case with one with good air flow to the GPU, like Lian Li O11 mini. Replacing the case is much cheaper than building a custom loop.
  13. $150 for a mouse. There are less expensive wireless mouses that perform just as good.

    AIO Issues

You are comparing apple and orange. 55C is under Cinebench R20 load. Also 4.4Ghz is very close to the limit of many R5 3600. Targeting 55C max is unrealistic for room temperature. I can get a 3600 blow 55C max if I downclock it to 4.2GHz. Also I don't get what is wrong with the CPU reaching 60-65C during max load. Or are you so proud your Intel CPU can reach 5GHz while barely hits 60C? Oh, Intel CPU runs so much cooler than AMD's?
  15. Intel invests billions on their fab. Now they have to use TSMC in order to remain competitive. I don't know what to feel if I were Intel's investors.
  16. Every time I read Intel has to push back the roadmap. While everyone is moving forward. Can't help but reminds me the story of tortoise and the hare. You can argue Intel get stuck in 14nm because of the fab problem. However they keep using SkyLake architecture for many generations,, except adding more cores. AMD shows you can keep the same nm, but innovate the architecture and improve IPC a lot. Intel is the hare.
  17. Feels like Nvidia purposefully 'leaks" a lot of rumors to discourage people from considering AMD 6800XT because of more VRAM.
  18. Meanwhile Intel remains using 14nm+++ in 2023.
  19. Information comes from Hardware Unboxed. 1. Godfall 104fps 2. Watch Dogs : Legion 91fps 3. Dirt 5 99fps 4. Assassin's Creed Valhalla 78fps

    AIO Issues

a 3600 at 4.4Ghz will never do a 55C at normal room temperature even with a 480mm custom loop.
