  1. Again, how else is the machine supposed to learn? If I have an infected file and my antivirus doesn't report it to it's cloud servers, then that leaves others at risk who may download the same file because the virus data base won't have been updated. Most A/V these days is very cloud based for this exact reason. It's even a thing in bog standard Windows Defender.
  2. Regular anti-virus and then this stuff. Chances are very high it's infected if it's getting flagged by something.
  3. If it was ONLY the infected data, I'd be okay with it. Likely it will use Azure. Otherwise it wouldn't learn and grow. Plus I hope to see this implemented into Windows Defender beings that MS is directly involved.
  4. Send this shit to Philly and you'll get a very clear message.
  5. Why even be in Shitafornia anyway? Higher taxes than Jamaica on 4/20, Government more stupid than some of the trolls on 4chan, and with weather that's too hot to boot. Just find a nice big ass field, claim it, declare it independent from the state, then file for statehood with the federal government. Then you can form your own - no bullshit - state government and profit.
  6. GLS Audio makes amazing cables without the hefty price tag. I outfitted an entire church with them. The church is mobile so everything is torn down, stored in a trailer, then reset backup the next Sunday. It's been almost two years now of constant movement on those cables, and not one has given a problem. https://www.amazon.com/GLS-Audio-Cable-Patch-Cords/dp/B003JJQMD8
  7. Not gonna read the wall of text but I came here to say this in response to the title. It's gonna get better. With actual PC hardware in the new consoles, it should be much easier to port games from one to the other. Other than maybe some proprietary code for Xbox and PlayStation OS's, it should almost kinda be like a copy/paste type of thing (keyword almost). The one game (sim) that comes to mind is the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. The trailer below was shot on an Xbox. If it looks like that on Xbox, one can only imagine what it will look like on a fully roided out PC.

so... today was a big day... i came out as tran…

That's good you were finally able to come out. I'm still unsure for myself. Might just be that way for the rest of life
  9. Was it really cheaper to BUY a company rather than just pay them to do this? Guess it was that bad, huh. Well I'm not quite sure how they intend to integrate this into Zoom, but I'm sure it will make video calling your grandparents a no-go. 10. How many pieces depends on how they're cut. But before my stomach shrank, I could eat a whole large pizza on my own. Then shovel down some potato chips, and finish it off with ice cream. Now-a-days (since the shrinking) I can eat maybe 3 or 4 slices max, and nothing else. Sad times these are
  11. You should disable the chassis intrusion alarm in the BIOS.
  12. Ohhh shit. Oh fuck. Love how shit happens forever ago and it takes some guy in a room enjoying is evening cup-o-joe 7 months to figure out. Don't know why I'm freaking out. I don't have an account with them anyway. Glad to see they at least took this action. And only 28,000 isn't all that bad tbh. 13. Look at the size of that track pad! Finally, an answer to Apple's massive track pad - hopefully other companies adopt it.
  14. At the very least, to see a Pixar or Disney animated movie from this would be hella cool.
  15. Firstly: Secondly, wtf is this? Sounds like it was written by someone with a political agenda. That or I'm just that illiterate because I don't understand the title of this, nor what's it's supposed to mean/convey. That's the problem with politicians, they use words that no one knows the meaning to as to make themselves sound smarter. Just makes for a confusing time and they then take advantage of that.
  16. Does your home not have a smart meter? Our mobile home (from 1980) was upfitted with one years ago by our electric company. We can see exactly what used how much energy during what time. Either way, couldn't you just take down the usage a normal meter reads every day then calculate the average after 31 days?
  17. The longer you hold your phone, the more power it gets. You'll never be able to put your phone down ever again. You'll scroll infinitely through memes. This will doom our society.
  18. Brand doesn't really matter as much as performance vs what you need out of it. In short - get whatever fits within your budget and needs.
