I mean they are entirely differenr devisions and amd cpu's have been solid for the last 5 years

For work stuff the 13900K is indeed a lot faster, there's legitimate reason to get one there. Puget has a review of it in creator workloads here: https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/13th-gen-intel-core-processors-content-creation-review-2369/#Motion_GraphicsVFX_Adobe_After_Effects

    Relevant summary slide for AE:

That 360mm AIO should cool it fine.

Can you use your gpu for rendering?

Then the 13900k is kinda useless as well the gpu is always faster.

That pudget bench shows it well.

There is also the other interesting tidbit of going amd as you'll still have an upgrade path later if you so wish.

Normally I dont suggest this but since the 7950x and a 13900k (without exotic cooling) arent too far apart it might be a worthwhile ivestment.

Any decent b650 board handles a 7950x too no problem so dont even need an expensive board

I run a 3080 and 13700k on an old 850w Seasonic Focus Plus Gold, should be fine

I use a 360mm AIO ( NZXT Kraken Z73)  Im using After effects and 3D a lot for work so that why i would choose a 13900k but if you say a 13600K is fine too then i would opt for that.

Good 850W PSU with is enough if you don't overclock, for overclocking even good 850W unit will struggle.
Parts you have listed are good, but no one can tell if they are good for price you are paying in it or not, they may even be waste of money if there are better parts available for same price.
Make a list at PCPartPicker and link it, make sure country is selected correctly and prices are listed correctly.

Technically it will be enough but i honesntly think its better if you go with a 1000w psu. Also a 13700k is essentially the same in performance as 13900k but at least its able to cool it. Also btw next time and for later reference post topics like these in the New Builds and Planning section

Plus, your cooler master uses 6pin connector for the PSU side for PCIE, the sharkoon uses 8pin connector for the PSU side PCIE.
You can't plug it in even if you want to YOLO it.

The 8pin PCIE side that connects to your GPU is.
The side that connects to your PSU isn't.

It's a bad idea because they are not. Wiring on the GPU side will obviously be the same, but wiring on the PSU side might not be. Could kill your 4080

I started my build in january 2018. I wanted to replace my macbook pro 2018 for a desktop to do my work on. After browsing on this forum for a long time i decided that a white build is what i was going for.
And so the Snow plow project was born.

I ordered the first parts to start my build :
intel core i5 8600k Asus prime z370 - A 2 x corsair vengeance 8 gig ram 3200mhz ddr4 (led) gigabyte geforce 1050ti 4gig nzxt kraken x62 aio nzxt s340 case Since i didn't know the x62 AIO had pre-applied cooling paste i ordered some too. i already had a 1000w corsair power supply lying around.

As you can see in the picture not long after using the 1050ti i upgraded to a EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080ti FTW3.
Since i had to do a lot of render work , this card seemed more suitable. I also added 2 more sticks of 8 gig to have a total of 32 gigs 3200mhz ddr4.

After a few months of using this rig i heard about the i9 9900k release and couldn't wait. I heard my father talking about upgrading his pc and so i gave my i5 8600k along with my motherboard to him and ordered myself a
intel i9 9900k together with a Asus maximus XI code z390.

When i first used the NZXT case i wasn't to happy with the build quality and wasn't looking forward to opening this one up and screwing/unscrewing things in it. I always liked open cases and so the Lian Li o-11 seemed a perfect fit.
A week later my case arrived along with my i9 and motherboard.

As you can see in this picture i couldn't help my self with getting some corsair ll120 rgb fans..
And so at last The snow plow was finished. (was still fiddeling around with push pull)

    i9 9900k (no overclock) Asus Maximus code XI z390 corsair 32 gig's 3200mhz ddr4  nzxt kraken x62 6x corsair ll120 rgb corsair commander pro EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW 3 4 tera HDD 500gig samsung 970 evo pro m.2 Lian li o-11

    Next to that i use:

Alienware aw3418dw 34inch 120hz screen Audio engine A2+ speakers ALR Jordan subwoofer  Secret lab Omega chair Obins anne pro mechanical keyboard Razer naga chroma steelseries arctis 3 ( Gift from my lovely girlfriend) oculus rift Ikea table a ton of love I really enjoyed building this... i kind of miss working on it since i have a feeling it's finished. But then again we all know.. we're never finished, are we boys !

Jun Ishiwata reacted to Master Disaster in ivy bridge pc upgrade
You're kind of limited in how far you can go. Intel's 4000 series was Haswell which is not compatible with Ivy Bridge boards at all so the best CPU you could ever get would be a 3770K. Ivy bridge uses socket 1155 while Haswell and Skylake use Socket 1151.

Honestly it's worth asking yourself if it's worth scrapping the board and CPU and upgrading. Obviously that's down to your budget and personal situation.

Before Chrome was around, we had to use IE.
Then FF showed up and it was so much better it wasn't even a contest. But FF couldn't leave well enough alone. They had to go muck about with the UI, and made it (subjectively, of course) worse and worse and worse and worse. And they ignored obvious issues (massive memory leaks) in favour of...christ knows what, but it wasn't fixing the bugs.

Then Chrome came along and showed everyone how you do a browser right.
    Game over FF.

And now Chrome is screwing up, so I jumped ship for Centbrowser, because it's like Chrome was when it started, "it just works" (and the UI is the classic look at that)
Opera screwed up by being sold to the chinese. Palemoon ain't there yet (and at the speed they are working on it, it never will)
Edge...well, it's dead, and FF keeps saying "look! We're different!" while having long since lost relevancy.

People, average people, do not like change, they get used to one thing (look at the UI for Win95/98/2k/ME/XP/Vista/7) and work with it. Then you pull the rug out and change shit up, win8 anyone? And people react badly.
MS can get away with it, but a linux distro, for example, well tread carefully lest you follow firefox into obscurity.

The gov't (at least the US) didn't grant anything of the sort, these companies got there either by having a superior product (Chrome vs FF/IE for example) being at the right place at the right time (Windows) or having competitors that didn't see the threat from others and got complacent (Blackberry, Sun/SGI/Novell)

It takes an extraordinary amount of money, brains and talent to go up against an established competitor. Look at, for one prime example, PhotoShop. Nothing else exists that is even close to it. Adobe didn't get there overnight, they got there by dumping time/energy/money to making it the best.
I don't fault Intel for the i9 series, it's tough when you hit the limits of physics to improve an already stellar product. AMD was terrible for too long, though the Ryzen chips seem to be making headway, Intel got to be the best for a reason.
