Absolutely was fair not to contact LTT about the issues, because if they their quality control, systems and checks where in place they would have absolutely picked up on it themselves.
 
And the indication was they where aware of these issues but could not be bothered as by Linus saying they could not be bothered to reshoot a video and spend $500 to fix a video.
 
And blaming a mouse company for not checking the bottom of a mouse for a protective film when that mouse was most likely handled by a dozen people before the review and not a single person though to look at the bottom of said mouse.
 
Not to mention the shit show that was the water block prototype that they absolutely knew was not designed for the video card in question but still went ahead and knowingly reviewed it with the wrong hardware.
 
And to all the LLT defenders grinding their teeth and yelling at Steve being biased and calling his video hit pieces. He is holding LTT to their own standards. Remember what Linus said about corporations?
 
They are absolutely not your friend, and their apology video screamed big multi million dollar corporation we are reading our apologies from a pre scripted teleprompter.
 
Not to mention their absolute arrogance that goes with being a big company making jokes during the video plugging store merch, releasing it as an exclusive on floatplane and monatizing the video.
 
These actions and behaviour are all the hall marks of a corporation that cares more about profits than anything else.

This seems to be an ongoing trend with the company.
Any big enough controversy they get into, they somehow turn it into merchandise/meme.

I’m grateful that they are getting called out on this. I have made multiple purchases on their store, however I will may no longer be purchasing anything else of them.

With the lack of warranty, It was not so much an issue for me. 
I believe they will want to fix any issue that may arise.
So big props to them coming out with a warranty as requested.

What is upsetting to me, is how he downplayed the concerns of this customers.

On the bolded bit, it's just good online business practice. Very, very little social media strife has real stakes. It's drama & trolling for drama & trolling's sake. Which means it's an opportunity to counter-market against it. It works time & again. It will continue to keep working.
 
The exception is when you miss that there is a real issue at play. In this case, after LMG puts out a "proper" warranty, their stated one is now worse than "Trust Me, Bro". I think a bunch of people in a lot of this discussion needs to slap themselves across the face for being stupid.  Linus' mistake was not being clear to his audience about the actual reality of warranties in general, especially with International Shipping. Unless you're in Australia, they're always incredibly weak and you are trusting the company's promises. And, in nearly all jurisdictions, they can deny a warranty claim at will and there's little one can do about it.

I really feel like LTT is missing a PR Department/Person.
 
Also, I was on the pre-show on floatplane before that show and Linus looked exhausted. I am not trying to justify or protect Linus and I didn't like how this situation was handled, but for me, it looks like Linus is stretched too thin. He mentioned that he is going on vacation, hopefully he will disconnect totally from work and have time to rest.  
 
I also noticed that, while there are a lot of news topics in any given week, the last few WAN shows were moving more and more towards merchandizing and less discussion on the news of the week. 
 
If this continue, at least from my end, I think I will stop watching that show and even cancel my Floatplane plan, which is a shame.

Another thing: I find the victim role he pulled by saying "it's kinda heardbreaking that people don't trust me enough" petty. He constantly says "don't trust the corpo's". Not in these words but he brings the same message to his audience.

Starting with "address anything to Creator Warehouse Inc". It's not that easy to find on the site (some laws in Europe oblige to put VAT number and company name into homepage), but anyway the company who sells something is that.
It's part of LMG? Ok. Has the same CEO? Ok. But no matter what, anything should be addressed to that company, no others. Hoping that the holding company and the C-Group of both can be aware of what happened.
Continuing with the (IMHO) well deserved warranty callout, no matter who did that. The backpack price is quite hefty (not disputing the price or if it's deserved) and claims during the ad on Short circuit did not match the claims that the same host of the ad, mr Sebastian, did into the WAN show. Was not apple to apple, the did not match.
I'm sorry if mr Sebastian doesn't like the question "hey dude, in which video you're telling the truth?"; its a personal matter and I'm sure he's skilled, experienced and adult enough to solve it. Neverthless, the C man of Creator Warehouse Inc should meet the host of the ad and ask him "what the hell were you telling during the video" if it's not ready to comply. Fun fact, a mirror or a smartphone is fast to use.
Anyway: a written warranty policy (it's not my concern or problem lenght, exclusion, whatever... they have the right, until fulfills the law, to give warranty on what Creator Warehouse Inc. consider strategical and viable) during the almost first 5.000.000USD backorder revenues (250 x 20.000 should match the sum) was missing. IMO this is not good, for european laws this should not happen. For any company should be a problem. Being called out should not be an issue. And profiting on lack of... consumer ethics IMO is not such a nice move.
Mr Sebastian did not enjoyed the callout. Someone try to tell him. More than one time why was not that "against him". And I would like to ask him:
-would you enjoy the same stile of callout you made to Teamviewer? 
-If AMD, Intel, nVidia, whatever company is not a customer friend, do the persons should consider Creator Warehouse Inc as a friend, or as a company, after lacking of written warranty policy on a hefty product, a bothered reaction on a friendly pat on the shoulder telling "you're doing it wrong, dude" and then react profiting on the missing due diligence?
 
Anyway... I hope that these words will be taken as "do better, dudes"... if you want to play big, you have to be in the game the proper way.
 

When his own employees recognize there's a problem and Linus just laughs it off?
 
Obviously, Linus has lost touch with reality. He can no longer treat his business as the guy next door buying parts online for his buddies. If he is going to promote and sell items with his brand name attached, he better be ready to back those items up with a written policy. A handshake and a "Trust me Bro" is not going to cut it.
 
"I'm not going to let $250 over a backpack tarnish my image?".... When you print up T-shirts mocking the situation guess what... to late, it already has.

While I agree on everything else, I disagree with it just because he likes to profits from his own drama, like the "Trust me bro" and "piracy" t-shirts, this makes me think that he's not truly sorry for it

If it was becoming more and more corporate I'd expect there not to be the issue which I think is the real issue of Linus taking things that aren't personal personally like his response to people wanting a real warranty being partially a why don't you trust me. Let us not forget why he is personally not in favour of unions at LMG or Creator Warehouse, being that management must have done something wrong if workers want a union and people don't just tell a C level executive or a manager if they run into any HR problems.
