Late to the party but folding up and running now -
Heard the call from WAN show, offering what little support I have. Unfortunately the "Suspend when computers is in use" settings still doesn't unsuspend when system goes idle so wasted 8~ hours when I went to sleep, so just gonna have to manually pause and unpause again. It was also grabbing everything instead of just ECM but removing and re-adding the project fixed that.

1. If the HDD is being accessed (woken up) multiple times, then leave it spinning because of wear from spinning down and spinning back up. Cursed WD Green HDD line had high failure rate because of that, (forced 8 seconds idle timer, spin down, park head, Windows requests something 2 seconds later, spin back up, repeat until drive dead). Most HDDs are 5W or less during spinning idle so its not like its sucking up power. 2. Like Kilrah mentioned 3. Have not heard anything like that, SSDs have their own built-in protections so probably not an issue

I was using regular BOINC manager for everything else, only when I was trying to add WCG it would just sit there "communicating with project" then fail which was strange. Well it's working now so it's all good

Late to javelin throw, didnt know I had to install world community grid's version to get it to connect but pushing 22 threads (keeping 2 to keep myself entertained) on it since 4 hours ago

Such a size difference but I guess it was mainly the wrist rest of the G910 since it was a smooth natural transition to the G915. Now it's easier to clean the keyboard without going under to unplug then replug

That is completely fine, not ideal but fine. Ideally rad up top or tubes coming from the bottom when rad is at the front, as long as the pump is not higher than the rest of the loop.

Suggestion: Can we get a segment/opinion of someone who wears glasses in the office for something like this? It would help to know if the headset was a pain in the butt to put on or hard to focus with glasses in between. -

A bit over 3 Years later is another GPU upgrade, running both the 2080 and 1070 together to combat the stupid high idle clock issue with different resolution/refresh rate that has plagued GPUs for years

I see you are using an Asus mobo so you're using fanxpert, as far as I know you can't bypass it. If you want full control maybe get a third party fan controller like the NZXT grid V2, you already have their kraken so you are probably already using their cam software.

If you think its acceptable than you are fine, if its making too much noise maybe replace them with other fans like noctua fans for example or rubber vibration dampening mounts(screws?) on the top fan. I have mine on a custom fan curve where some of them are completely off and some running at 40-50% at idle than ramp up during heavier use.

No, the successor to the G700s, the G703 (and extension the G603) just uses the G403 body when previous versions had more buttons. Also I didn't even mention how the G900 relates to the G403 or even the G900

Either not available in Canada or overpriced/ripoff... Pack of USB cables for $8 usd does not = $42 canadian rupees or at least it shouldn't be.

Super disappointed that the G703 is just a rehash of the G403 wireless, I've been waiting for an update for the G700s for so long since they gave every other mouse in their line up a nice upgrade. -
Still wondering why Logitech hasn't released an update for the 700 series yet, it's the only G series mouse that hasn't. Like you said with the G900 and G403, not much of a excuse not to do one now.
