  1. Yeah perfect way to describe the driving. I wish they went with the direction that the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2009) was going in. Had really nice graphics at the time the driving had an arcade-style to it but felt really good. All it missed was a proper free roam, customisation and it would have been perfect.
  2. For my experience so far and about 5h into the game... It's alright. Nothing too amazing, not a big fan of how you drive the car it feels pretty fake and too easy in my opinion. Graphics are pretty solid and it performs quite nicely. The storyline seems decent but a little cheesy at times. I found myself just teleporting to the races rather than utilising the free roam since I didn't find it particularly interesting. Customisation is good you can do a fair bit to each car just like you could in previous NFS such as Underground. FYI: You can play a 10h trial of Need For Speed on Origin if you get Origin Access for a month which costs $4.99 (Cancel the subscription immediately after paying so that they don't renew it after a month is over).
  3. There is one but I haven't tried it in a while so not sure how good it is. http://www.soundnodeapp.com/

  6. Fantastic pair of open-back headphones for the lowest price I've ever seen them at. I bought mine back in November 2015 for £230 and love them. Definitely worth looking into if you are after open-back headphones. Link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-X2-00-Fidelio-Headphone-Black/dp/B00MRUPSHQ
  7. If you have the Product key for that OS you should be able to download it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows7
  8. I used to love the power drill type bass from my headphones but ever since I got my Fidelio X2's I quickly realised that a more ambient bass sounds a hell lot better and doesn't muffle away the highs and mids... and give me a headache Sadly dealing with people that only rate headphones based on bass power is something you/we have to deal
  9. I would also prefer for the Start Date to be the default. I find it especially irritating just like you on the Tech News sub-forum
  10. Absolutely not especially that with the new season a whole new ranking system will be introduced so you will have a fair chance at getting the best rank you can and will be matched with equal players. I would say that it would help to have a friend that already plays the game to guide you a bit but there are a lot of guides on YouTube that you could watch which will help you play better. I've sunk in 352h into the game so far and I'm still learning and make mistakes. I would advise that you use a controller and have it set up so that you never have to move your fingers off your boost and jump. Learn to use the hand break effectively and switch between the two different camera modes to give you a better awareness.
  11. Payments would probably be an issue to implement into a normal topic I would imagine.
  12. Polls were in the Beta so it's probably yet to be fixed after migration or something disabled it during the migration. Give it a few days then report it to one of the mods if it still isn't there.
  13. It was fine in the Beta so I'm assuming its something that will sort itself out when the migration is 100% complete or it's something that broke in the process.
  14. If you go to your profile and click the "See my activity" button you should have access to all of your posts and topics there. On the left hand side you can click Posts or Topics to see your previous Posts and Topics
  15. Glad that the migration is going relatively smoothly (as far as I can tell). Nice to see the new look on the main forum now :D Seriously, you guys have done a damn good job!
  16. You should watch the videos and read the review by TechTablets since he's covered this tablet recently. Playlist for the videos he's done: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVJ5yuUCk8wAZCx2hdFK56y0dYL3uWq4- Written review: http://techtablets.com/xiaomi-mi-pad-2/review-android/
  17. I used to before I switched myself and my friends over to Discord. Still a solid fall back when Discord servers fail
  18. I use and prefer the wire one since you are less likely to scratch your keycaps at least I feel that way.
  19. Every 2-3 months or so. Mine tends to stay relatively clean since I use a cover that came with it when I'm not using it or eating near it.

    Fiio E10k?

I have the headphones and I would highly advise checking how they sound with your current computer (assuming that's what you are planning to use it for). I'm currently using it directly to the motherboard and I will be getting a Fiio E10K to go with it just mainly because I have a feeling that my sound card on my motherboard isn't that great and sometimes some things are too quiet. Already tried them with my friends E10K and I could tell the difference for better but your experience my vary. This will also eliminate a minor coil whine noise I can hear when everything is silent but my PC is under load. Definitely don't get the E10K unless you have checked the headphones and are convinced you will hear a noticeable improvement. The headphones are 32 Ohm so any motherboard/mobile device will be able to drive them; it just depends on the quality of the sound card/DAC your PC/mobile device has. P.S. Mihle Gaming make sure that you follow your own threads/topics using the button on the far right side of the title "Follow this topic" so that you receive notifications whenever people reply in your thread/topic. You can also follow your own topic/thread when creating it. There is a tick box on the right sidebar next to the editor.
  21. Me and my friends switched to it recently from Razer Comms and it's really good. The devs actually listen to fan requests and bring in the features that are the most popular (Look here). The mobile app is pretty much on par with the desktop/web app which is awesome. Probably the easiest and best VoIP service I've personally used in terms of setup and quality.
  22. For the most part it produces enough volume but sometimes when the source audio is quieter compared everything else I usually listen to, I can't get it up to the volume I like I seem to get things to crackle when cranked up to 100% (or near it) currently but when I used it with the Fiio E10K that wasn't the issue. The issue may lay somewhere else but that is a solution I'm willing to take especially since I would prefer to have a physical knob for my volume anyway. EDIT: Oh yeah and sometimes I get some of the coil whine from my GPU or/and PSU transfer into the headphones when the PC is under load, although it isn't too bad I do want to eliminate it all together.
