A have a screw less mounting system for my hard drives.
    its a plastic rail/tray doohickey

on my budget case there is no screw mounting hole,
this causes vibrations on my case, loud vibrations
    easy fix.

some people use elastic to hang their hdd, i aint got time foe dat.
grab some thing to absorb the vibration form the case and the hdd's.
i had a thick wrist rubber band, im not sure what their called.
i noticed if i squeeze the things that you use to pull out the HDD, there were no more vibrations.
and i decided to shove it in the sides f the rail tray thingy.
    viola, less vibrations

yes, i know i have bad wiring and my case is dusty  , sorry !

It depends on how it's done. It can overheat if the drives are suffocated in foam.
My drives have a fan to help cool them from behind case door.

Vibration is kind of an issue either way with tool-less or hardmounted hdd's.
Proper isolation with some sort of elastic band or suspending foam is much better.

    The Deepcool tesseract sw
    nice elegant case
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811853002
it was $30 usd when i bout it
easy to work in and no sharp edges !
    2 led fans
very sturdy, except for the windowed side panel. its sort of floppy and wiggly.
    downsides:
tool less hdd tray  ( no option for screws)
push method of removing pci brackets
side panel window has weird fan holes.
im planning on removing the side panel and replacing it with plexi !

Try and make a computer out of a potato.

Or you could see how clock speed affects computer performance, your teacher would most likely have no idea what you are talking about and give you an A.
