DriZyo reacted to krueger515 in PC AUTO RESTART WINDOWS 10 HOME
Did you happen to try and overclock any of your components? An unstable overclock can cause the system to crash and restart.

Try taking a look at event viewer (start+r, then type eventvwr.msc). Are there any errors (not warnings) that could result in a restart?

Please stop shouting at us.
Is there any kind of message being displayed before the PC reboots?

It may be auto updating. Sometimes updates require a system restart.

I run mine (granted it's overclock ed to 4.6) with an r9 290x. You will be fine.

Wouldnt mind pairng FX 6300 even with a GTX 1060, it'll bottleneck only in very CPU demanding games.

for that cpu, 1050ti is a better choice.
what games do you play?

Don't worry about bottlenecks and just enjoy the performance boost you'll get from upgrading your GPU. And yes, it's compatible.

If you can, test every part with another system that 100% works. Its possible that its only mobo which isn't working and would cause issues on other parts.

DriZyo reacted to Radium_Angel in About Overheating
I'd be asking yourself *why* the CPU overheated? I haven't seen a case of overheating on a CPU, where thermal shutdown didn't kick in, in a very very long time.
We need more details, what happened to cause the overheating?
And CPU, GFX, and PS are all discrete elements. As DRM said, one dying is *highly* unlikely to affect the other, unless it was a power surge through a cheap Power Supply, then you have bigger issues.

If his CPU is broken, will it affect his graphics card and power supply? Or any other part?

So google translate wont work? and many countries talk english as the 2nd language.
-
DriZyo reacted to LogicalDrm in About Overheating
Overheating doesn't mean CPU is broken. It means cooler isn't capable of handling load and temps of CPU. If CPU would be legit dead, it wouldn't have effect on anything. It just wouldn't power on. Dead or dying mobo might damage RAM and CPU, but thats unlikely. Dying PSU has most chances of killing all things connected to it. They only need one power surge to die.

That doesn't help if OP's first language isn't English...

like I said, consider other features and design. Corsair keyboards have better lighting overall. Go with the k70, better design, software and has a metal frame.

DriZyo reacted to Zando_ in GPU FAN NOT SPINNING
It it working fine? Lots of cards have a zero RPM mode (my 980 Ti does) so the fans spin up and startup, then shut off at idle. They only spin up when the GPU starts getting hot.
-
DriZyo reacted to Synawke in GPU FAN NOT SPINNING
Even when under load? A lot of GPUs at idle wont spin the fans.
-
DriZyo reacted to ThomasPham in GPU FAN NOT SPINNING
I don't understand how 95% of that list belongs with your original post. If your GPU fan stopped spinning, that means the temp sensor is shot or your GPU doesn't need to be cooled ( it never reached hot enough temps to trigger the fans). How do you know it stopped? Does your computer BSOD after a while?
-
DriZyo reacted to aisle9 in GPU FAN NOT SPINNING
Dismantling your PC won't fix your GPU fan. Run Heaven for about five minutes. If the fan hasn't kicked in by the time your card hits 65C, turn it off to let the card cool.
Have you ever poked around at the card or taken it apart? If so, you may have loosened the fan connector on the PCB. Try giving it a gentle push in with your fingernail and see if it slides any further.
When's the last time you cleaned out your GPU? It's possible that the fan is clogged up with dust. If so, a can of compressed air and some patience will help.
If all else fails, replacement fans for all modern GPU SKUs are readily available on eBay. You'll probably have to buy one to replace the fan you have on the cooler now.

Ok well you can send it back to the place from where you bought it under warranty.

the mic is removable and it is "good enough" for gaming, do not expect crystal clear audio but I guess you could tweak the input.
As for keyboards I only have experience with logitech and corsair. Some people suggest that razer mechanical keyboards are lower quality. Switches are the same across brands, meaning, a cherry mx red will feel the same in a corsair keyboard, logitech, ducky, etc. You should consider other features such as media keys, macro keys, rgb, etc. before making a purchase.
