Individuals who deal drugs deemed illegle by USA on their soil is a completely different topic than a business that abids by USA law by selling products which aren't deemed illegle.

How could I prove something like that wrong? It isn't like I represent the collective of America and can access their thoughts and memories to tell you that we aren't racist or intolerant. Only a dodo bird would think all Americans or America as a whole feels the same as a minority, or do you feel the same for Muslims and Islamic terrorists? But then again, leave it to Liberals and co. to set a double standard.

To get to the point, we don't hold racist and nationalistic sentiments toward immigrants and to say that we do because we have a border is the most ridiculous and hilarious claim I have read in a long time. We want immigrants, we love them, they made us! My family is an immigrated family, and most people in the country are and acknowledge that. We don't want them undocumented and pouring over our border uncontested. Or have you not paid attention to all the criminals and drugs that have managed to cross the border as well? Or the lives lost because of it? And many immigrants feel the same way, but surprise surprise, the media won't cover that.

This further proves how blind and misguided you are. You hear one crazy Liberal on the tv ranting about how Americans hate women, gays or immigrants and you herp derp to their likening without taking a moment to consider the truth.

European countries have no border laws (or rather lack the incentive to keep them), and that's why they became impregnated with radical Islam or other problems that could have been maintained or otherwise moderated if they had imposed border restrictions. Maybe if you guys took a page out of our book and tried to protect your borders, or enforce existing laws, Islamic problems wouldn't be so unacceptable in European countries. A smart country tries to control those who enter it or the population in which gets accepted, because that's responsibility.

Dude, this site tottaly has the best deal on ram, you can download it for free (it's not a scammy website at all, it works, I swear!):

No but seriously though, you shouldn't have to worry much. Even if it's not in the motherboard compatibility list, it should work no problem. The only RAM I've heard compatibility issues with is a lot of Mushkin ram which apparently doesn't play well with AMD motherboards at all. Otherwise, if you go the usual Kingston, G-skill etc.. you shouldn't have any issues. Just get pretty much the cheapest ram out there because heat spreaders are bs. I tend to pay a little more to get some good looking kingston hyperx ram though (don't worry, the bottom and most of the side ugly green pcb is hidden when on the motherboard)

The 840 evo is not better since it uses TLC Flash which is cheaper to produce & it doesn't last as long as MLC (the 840 Pro uses MLC) . MLC technology is also faster then TLC Flash but it costs more money to produce & it's faster then TLC along side with it lasting much longer around triple the lifetime of TLC. But you'll never notice the speed boost between the 840 Pro and Evo since they're already so fast.

    ONTOPIC TIME:
Very solid build Element, what are your planned upgrades? Also please try going to a different brand of mechanical hard drives please Element. Since Seagate has like a 70 - 90 percent fail rates while Western Didgital & Hitachi have like 0.4 - 6% fail rates.

    Welcome!
I thought I would share a project I have been working on for a few years! Some of you may have seen it on other forums or somewhere else but now I have started the work log here as well. It is a fully custom chassis built and designed by me.

I have been a long time watcher of LinusTechTips on youtube but I never realized that this forum was here. Because of that I never got around to make a work log here for the whole progress only the last month or so of the build. Anyway I hope you will enjoy it! (Updated the pictures to the final ones and added videos!)

    History behind the Project:
About 5 years ago I decided that I was going to water cool my computer. Back then I had a Antec P180, not exactly the perfect chassis for water cooling your components. I looked at a lot of different chassis but I was never really happy with any of them. So I started sketching on my own design. First they were really awful, but as time progressed I got better and better at drawing. Early drawings was in MS-paint. I then moved on to Google Sketchup and finally Autodesk Inventor. I have probably gone through about 30 different designs until I finally decided on this one. This was my first custom designed chassis and also my first ever water cooled computer! The basic goal was to design a very quiet high-performing system with a minimalistic and clean design.

Edit: Compiled all the Pictures and Videos in the first post.

    Final Result:

The "complete" work log is almost 500 pictures. Below is a compact 100 pics of the process and the final results. If you want ALL 500 pics check out this album: http://imgur.com/a/dTRqx

I have an old Dell Optiplex GX240 that I gutted years ago and have just had the case laying around, gathering dust. I got the idea to make this case new and better looking.

It used to look like this:

Now it's sitting in pieces ready to be trimmed, the Dell logos be filled, and painted.
    It now looks like this:

Now that it's ready to have work done on it, I need help with the color scheme; I had the Idea of painting it white and grey, but can't really figure out what colors it'd look best in. I created a poll to see what you guys think.

What colors do you guys think this'd look good in?

Also seen in the first picture of pieces I marked an area for a window to be cut from, should I add the window? Keep in mind, this an mATX case, I can't make it that big.

And lastly, for intake I was planning to cut out everything from behind the grey door on the front and put a fan there while using something like this for the front I/O.

What do you guys think of the plan?
