Changed Cloudflare WAF settings recently, so that only connections from certain regions are allowed (GeoIP). With FreePBX Distro losing support soon, I'll have to move to Debian by the end of May. May start experimenting with ClearBox RADIUS server again, once FreePBX has been moved to Debian. The macOS has gone back to chewing through USB cards, which means that I can't directly connect a BluRay player to that VM at this time. I'll have to see if I can start ripping and uploading DVD/BluRay images to it over the network.

  3. More DRM-related, PC-bricking news. This is part of why I'm kinda meh with multiplayer games now.

I feel as though DRM is not the optimal answer for attesting and securing the game environment...

Sounds like they need a DRMatologist.

  4. nVIDIA's Thoughts on Microsoft's AI PC Requirements:

In all honesty, I don't even need or care for an AI PC. I'll gladly buy a laptop with no AI accelerators, and throw the actual compute task at a proper server instead. I don't need my laptop trying to become an AI edge compute node, or messing with local AI, if I have the hardware to consistently handle the task with better performance. All it'll serve to do is increase upfront and replacement costs for the laptop I end up buying.

Why didn't you try a VM first? Did it not work well in that environment?

Or worse ubisoft cuts server support.

The thing is, Ubisoft already stopped all support, and it's an online-only game (as in, phone home needed to play at all), so it's effectively dead. If they allowed you to install it, you still wouldn't be able to play it. Hence why Ubisoft, and The Crew specifically, has been singled out to be made an example for others:
