This. I am studying to be an attorney and have worked in a very large law firm (in the 100 largest in the United States). Appearances of impropriety matter just as much as whether actual impropriety is occurring.

This is a pretty silly argument, you can apply this to situations that are harmful to other people that don't personally affect you like school shootings or acts of terrorism.

At the moment I see both sides of the argument... I'm a long time viewer of LTT and I almost never watch GN (this is just so ppl know where I'm coming from)
I think that Linus is right on the fact that GN should have contacted LTT when making the video; but not for changing the structure or what he said, more for just a comment/comments from their side.
I think all the points GN made are valid and they've been a concern for the community for quite some time.
Lastly, I understand that it's not pleasant being on the receiving end of a community outrage, and a lot of the responses Linus gave are partially from stress and personal feelings being involved, but I think the responses were very poorly handled. It is somehow disappointing to see this, it's not so hard to say: "Hey we know we fucked up, but here's what we're doing to avoid this in the future and here's what we've done already to fix things" It's simple, it's true, the community will like it, it doesn't come off as disingenuous, it does not add more fuel to the fire. Some people from the community are overly reacting, and that just adds more fuel, basically what I'm saying is instead of finding excuses, just acknowledge stuff and instead of writing up aggressive comments, calmly point out what you're trying to say.

First of all, the whole Billet Labs stuff is completely absurd if true. I don't think they would intentionally sell something they couldn't, probably some massive fuck up in communications happened between the team responsible for sending it back and the people choosing the items to be auctioned, but it's still a huge issue and 100% LTT's responsibility to fix it and make sure something like this never ever happens again. 
 
About the rushed content, it's something that a lot of times crosses the border of "fun jank" to being just frustrating. Every single project they do seems to be rushed, unfinished, untested and plagued with issues and oversights. And that could be their content "brand", seems like many people enjoy the jank. But if they now want to present themselves as serious testers, someone the community can look up for reliable data with Labs, that mindset needs to change, FAST. How the hell can I trust someone who has to correct themselves almost every video? And makes errors that a basic review of the content could catch? 
 
You need to pump out 7 videos a week? Sure buddy, but maybe allow more time sensitive projects to be properly planned, executed and reviewed and throw some "here's 10 fun crap we found on aliexpress" videos to make up for it.

Its about bloody time. Chrome on Windows is close to, but not quite, as friendly in some aspects as iTunes for windows. Baffling that tiny issues persist but at least Google is taking care of one. 

There isn't a discernible difference between the 4690k and the Xeon except that the i5 overclocks a lot better than the Xeon, so I think you should stick with the 4690k. 
It seems like you've cut corners on the PSU, which I must oppose. Depending on your budget I'd recommend that you check out some PSUs by Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling and Super Flower.

How do you expect to power all of this? Hopes and dreams?
