Help and Advice

Rcube3

Hey guys, I wanted to know if this is a good build and ways I can make it cheaper (While keeping black and white theme). I will be adding another 970 in the future. I will be using the computer for gaming, some streaming, and software development. thanks for the help guys.

Oh and I was wondering if i should switch the 4690K to a Xeon E3-1231V3 or just stick with the 4690K since the board supports OC? thanks and sorry I'm a noob lol

There isn't a discernible difference between the 4690k and the Xeon except that the i5 overclocks a lot better than the Xeon, so I think you should stick with the 4690k.
It seems like you've cut corners on the PSU, which I must oppose. Depending on your budget I'd recommend that you check out some PSUs by Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling and Super Flower.

EVGA makes some high quality power supplies as well. Go with the 4690k. You'll also be needing an os.

4690k if you wanna overclock..thats the only reason to get the k over the xeon

the xeon is faster

and your psu is total garbage on there

seasonic or xfx are the best ones
