I know in another thread you mentioned possibly having some more money coming in so I went with this as a starter and figure it can be adjusted down if needed.

Sorry, I do not mean to piss you in any way.

My vision is to build a PC for 700€. CPU for around 200 (R5 1600 is in my mind), mobo for around 80 (Asrock ab350m pro4), gpu for around 150-200 (1050 ti I guess), Ram 1x8gb 2400MHz for 70, psu fo 50, for storage to buy HDD for 50, OS for 30 and case for 65€

For those other 300€ includes mouse for around 50 (Logitech G403, don't know if there's something better), monitor under 110, keybord for around 30, powerline for 40, that receiver for 16 and the chair for 60€.

I don't know if I should wait for for intel 300-series b and h mobos to launch, to go with Coffee lake, or togo with Ryzen. Also if I would wait, there will probably be Volta from Nvidia released, so that I don't know if I should wait

In those upcoming months I was thinking to upgrade to ssd for around 100 (maybe intel 600p), another ram stick and headphones for 70-80.

By 'too overkill' I though about the Ram and the PSU, of which I thought that they are too pricey for my budget.

Hope this does make sense. I'm sorry that I wasn't more specific before.

@BriceyjConsider that for MOST people spending this amount of money on a PC, that you'll use ONLY for gaming. It's like, you robbed a bank. And most of the people here don't have this amount of money. And it would be also better for you. You'll save a buck and u can under 300 dollars you can get a great triple 144Hz monitor setup, TOTL mechanical keyboard, mouse and really good headphones. It is coniderded stupidz because for pure gaming and streaming, this kind of build is stupid. For this price you can also get RGBW led strips to customise your roomz so your Rig would look really good. This people and me try to help you, not to make a stupid desicion, that will be pure wase of money.

Sorry for my english, I hope, u get my point. And at the end of the day, people are proud even of their 600€ gaming rigs. 'Cause it's something, that they build by their own hands. Rig for this amount of money is for people, that do heavy CPU and GPU load, like 3D work, CAD etc. Not for pure gamers and streamers

Post a new topic and ask for triple 144Hz monitor setup, including mouse and TOTL mechanical keyboard and headphones for around 2500-3000 bucks. Also post were you are planning to build your PC. You should be good with it. And ask for Ryzen

The build is pretty solid, although now is a very bad time to build a PC. If you want a good gaming experience, buy any monitor under 5ms latency. In this price range, it'll be probably a TN panel, which is good, if you don't work as a designer and you don't need very good colours. Check some 75Hz monitors and buy Asus, Benq or Aoc those are good brands. I would sugest you Asus VS247HR, but there are planty good monitors in this price range

You can reformat it as many times as you want afterwards.

I think you can use a 4gb, but depends on the image, my offical 10ltsb 1506 is 3.6gb, and the newer builds for home are bigger. 8gb should be used.

Oh, the rx480 wasn't ever available in my country. And there isn't very much time, because he need to order the pc tomorow. And considering that it's 10 pm in my country by now, I don't think they will magicly appear in the store in the morning. He also won't change his mind

Do you really need a Wi-Fi card? I'll rather go with a Powerline Adapter

Go with @RaptorCandy's build. Now it's better to go full AMD, 'cause it's better and cheaper

Go for AMD RX 580. It's cheaper then 1060 and about same speed overall. My friend got 980m in his laptop and 750Ti has similar power
