whats the 980m like vs the 1060/1070 ie were abouts is its performance looking for something more powerful then a 1060 would a 980m be more or less powerful then the 1060

New laptops have full Pascal chips, I think that's what he meant

980m<1060<1070

 

980m is 10 fps slower than a stock 970, while a laptop 1060 is about 5 to 10 fps faster than 970. Expect 15 to 25 more frames on 1060. For the 1070, expect more than 50% advantage than a 980m

Go for AMD RX 580. It's cheaper then 1060 and about same speed overall. My friend got 980m in his laptop and 750Ti has similar power
