Ubuntu has the best performance from my experience, however, if you are running a website or a specific server Microsoft tools in windows servers will help you and be worth the performance impact to the server.

Yeah we don't want GPUs manufactured in some cheap chinese off brand factory! We want them manufactured on likely the exact same fucking factory at a different shift so they're one of the reputable chinese brand factories!

This link is very misleading as it isn't actually afiliated with the FCC. It is an independent site.

No idea why you would recommend a website that takes your information and searches through another site instead of going straight to the FCC site yourself.

If you don't actually respond (Since you joined and this is the only post), I'll assume this is just a spam post to bring traffic to that site...

Looked at a few benchmarks of 7700k vs 8600k and they seemed to perform near identically in gaming. Coffee lake is probably the best bet if you can get it

File permissions are baked into NTFS, but the virus might be stopping windows from changing them so it's worth a shot. If you don't have a usb, maybe dvd-rw?

IMO Rufus is better than unetbootin because it doesnt add a screen before it boots the usb and it's lightweight
The virus is likely new or undocumented if you cant find anything on the .sys file, therefore most likely not a system file and you can delete it.

No, because what passes through the cable is ours. It's the same as saying "You can rent this car for a week, but i can control what music plays on the radio and how many people can get in remotely. After all, I own the car so I can do what I want with it."

    1. Right click on the desktop, go to view>Show desktop icons and tick it.
    2. Turn down your brightness to 50% and use the power saving preset in power options. That is how battery life is tested in reviews, max brightness eats battery fast.
    3. If you mean that the gtx 1050 isn't being used, go into Nvidia control panel, open "Manage 3D settings" and set preferred graphics processor to High-Performance.
    4. Delete the old shortcut before reinstalling Itunes, and if that doesn't work open the shortcut's properties and change the icon manually by navigating to the Itunes exe file.

If they put that in the terms, but that could lead to them monopolizing the 'Net and picking and choosing what gets one there, so it'd be limiting free speech and expression.

No. That's what ISPs have been trying to claim for forever and it's complete garbage.
At this point they have essentially become a utility, as vital to most if not all people as electricity. They are trying to abuse their almost monopolistic grasp on the market to demand more money because they are also legacy cable providers and don't want to lose that money to others.

So the argument just ends because the devils advocates leave in frustration? This wasn't very constructive at all.
