We have had these available in Australia for some time now, I've got two of the Bookshelf variant that I have mounted to the bed in the bedroom.
I've not had to turn them up past 50% even when running the shower to hear them clearly.

For $150 AUD, there's not much that can beat them imo.
If they release a sub, I'll be replacing my study speaker system with two, and the sub, and I'll be purchasing a third shortly for the home gym.

The only thing left to be desired is bass, however decent subs in both the living room and study so I'm a bit biased.

    Have a Nokia 8.1.
Picked it up for $475 AUD, 16gb, 128gb, Dual Sim.

I can guarantee you their update speed comes from almost all their new phones being a part of the Android One program.

My 8.1 shipped with Android 9.0 and is garunteed 10.0 and 11.0 minimum because of Android One.

As for security updates get at least one every month. Android One takes care of this as well I'm pretty sure.

Totally. Many small farms around here do the same with everything from chicken, to pork and even cattle. Plus there are many places to get game meat.
I usually pick up my eggs and such from small farms.

    Whelp, Depends who you ask.
I started playing before it got popular, have over 300 hours in it.
It's far better now than it was when it started, considering the increase in polarity.

    Ryzen 1700x & R9 390x
Haven't seen it dip below 60fps/1080p in a long time now.

That's still laughable. With the lowest settings in the game, a Core i7 4770 and a GTX 970 overclocked I should not struggle to hit 144 FPS, but alas that's how poorly the game is optimized. It's rare I even see 100 FPS.

If you have played PUBG for longer than a few weeks you will know that statements like these are not true.
PUBG's performance was abhorrent to begin with. I remember playing in the very early days of it being out (just after pre-purchase) and being at 20-30fps and 10-15 when in a city.
Fast forward to today, and I am sitting at a solid 60, with some dips down to 40-50 with lots of grenades and smokes going off in cities.

As for the statements about not putting money into anything, they are constantly posting dev notes, talking about their upcoming new map release, and shit they release a patch every week for bugfixes.

As for comments about who is ripping it off who in a game sense, are you all forgetting that PlaywerUnknown (Lead Dev on PUBG) was the one who created the ARMA2: DayZ: Battle Royale game mode?

I thought the title of the game may give it away, but hey.

He also worked as one of the lead dev's on H1Z1 - so to be honest this seems like Bluehole putting their weight behind the original creator who's actually having his own work being ripped off for the first time. (Considering he's worked on all the previous iterations of BR-esk games.)

As an Australian I have tried to do the right thing. Had foxtel and used the app on my TV for on  demand content but they only have 20% of it and missed episodes in  the current season.
Also 480p and 720p is it for streaming, apparently we only want to watch game of thrones as a blocky mess.

Then I went Netflix content keeps disappearing new stuff gets added but when it's before the 90s and not content owned by foxtel. Better streaming quality just not that much content.

The laws here around content rights is the issue. Till that is fixed you will need 6 different streaming subscriptions. I spent most my time trying to work out which streaming program I needed to search for what show. Who has the content rights for it.

I think people only pirate not because they don't want to pay for it. They just can't work out who has the rights to host it here.
Let's face it go to any torrent sites all the shows appear in one search.
I am sure if all content was hosted by one content provider we would buy a subscription. I want decent quality streaming and content.

Foxtel now I was very excited about since they were going to have 10,000+ on demand content. I launched national geographic and looked at all the content a total of 9 series.. Apparently that's all the content for the last 5 years.. They have the rights to the content yet fail to host the content they are the markers of their own problem. But yeah shut down torrent sites for providing a better service then they could ever.

@rikashiguma - I've been living in a FTTH Estate for the last 3 Years in Bald Hills. Paying for 100/40. Getting 95/35 Every unit in the complex has fibre. (150ish)
I'm now building in Griffin, Which has FTTH.

There's also been a mandate (At least in Queensland) That any NEW Development (Including where they are developing an existing block of land into an estate) MUST have FTTH.

The replacement of the current infrastructure is what's being botched, however it's not as simple as that, keep in mind it's a huge infrastructure change to remove existing cabling and replace it, I watched them do it in Aspley. They were doing maintenance on a single main road for almost 12 months.

Long story short, if you want FTTH, you will need to move into a new development, as you will most likely be getting FTTN otherwise.
