Depends on motherboard. There are motherboards with 3 video outputs, for example MSI B550M Pro-VDH (with or without Wifi) : https://www.amazon.com/MSI-B550M-PRO-VDH-ProSeries-Motherboard/dp/B089D1YG11

It has HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA ... and I'm 95% sure it can do all 3 at the same time.... and otherwise it's quite a solid motherboard, can do even  10 core processors just fine.
The HDMI and DisplayPort can do 4K, the vga is 2048x1536 max or something like that.

ASRock B550M Pro4  also has the same 3 connectors ... but check manual to make sure all 3 can work at same time : https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-B550M-PRO4-Processors-Motherboard/dp/B089VY5WVM/

Same with the ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-E (with or without WIFI), has displayport , hdmi and vga.

The ASUS Prime B550M-A WiFi  has HDMI, DVI-D, VGA :   https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-B550M-Motherboard-Memory-Addressable/dp/B081PZTZ4B/
I wouldn't buy it because DVI sucks, it's just another HDMI 1.4, limited to max 1920x1200 at 60 hz (unless you have a dual link dvi cable and a monitor that supports dual link dvi for higher resolutions, up to 2560x1600)

nVidia cards have the nvEnc encoder on them, so you can do hardware encoding, but the 5700g can do 1080p encoding using the CPU just fine... just 2-3 of its 8 cores would be enough for real time encoding of a 1080p stream.

GIGABYTE A520M DS3H has DisplayPort, HDMI and DVI  but the DVI may be "shared" with the HDMI, meaning only one out of the two would work... I just don't know. It's also an A520 chipset board, a bit weak when it comes to VRM (no heatsink on it) but it should be capable of running a 5700g without throttling it.

It's mostly the GPU that will do the job so it should be just fine.
And if you're only outputting 1080p anyway you could set the cameras to 1080p...

How are you capturing the 4K cameras?
Are you gonna have all four cameras at the same time on screen?
If you use pci-e hdmi capture cards, you'll want to make sure the motheboard has enough pci-e slots (and spaced from the video card to not block air flow)
If you use usb capture cards, the cheap ones have a hardware encoder chip in them, so they basically capture the 4K video and encode it to h264 or other codec and send 20-50 mbps of encoded video to the driver which then decodes it and passes it to OBS
Video playback is not that cpu intensive
The encoding you can do it with nvEnc on that 1660 card, so that also doesn't take cpu.

If the computer will be mainly for streaming, then you could go with a 5700g and no video card to save money, you could use software encoder (x264) to encode the 1080p stream

5700g is 300 euro, and it's around 50% more powerful than that 10600KF chip from Intel.

TorGuard is fast and you get 50% off with promo code, so 1 month for $5, 3months for $10, 6 months for $15, 1 year for $30, or 2 years for $60, but that's if you get the 50% off, the speeds are almost identical to my nov-vpn speeds when I choose servers in states around me.

Well I mean, Tor browser is 100% free and probably more safe then any VPN. Problem with it is the only thing protected is the info inside the browser.

What Carclis said. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't

A good thing to do is, set both the kits to the same speed, timings, and maybe even voltage. A good thing to check too is the memory chips are made by the same manufacturer (SK Hynix or Samsung).

I'm pretty sure they would need to be running at the same speeds and latency for them to work at all. What happens when you set your memory to the absolute stock speed of 2133 Mhz?

Also, make sure you have them in the correct slots since it appears you have an X99 board?

    Hi there

A NAS gives you far more options and takes care of the shares, users, permissions and can perform some serving functions while connecting a simple DAS to your router leaves you with whatever the NAS offers as options. Moreover, not every router has a USB port.
Basically, every storage device accessible over the network can be considered a NAS (even a flash drive connected to your router or a SD card configured as a shared drive on your PC which can be accessed over the network.

What are you attempting to achieve?

WD My Cloud certainly offer a bit more features compared to WD My Book connected to a router.

Let me know if you need a bit more info on this.

external hd drive= external drive connected to pc
nas drive =network attached storage connect to router that all pc on network can use(if permissions granted)
cloud storage= cloud storage space on web accessable anywhere

Oh right, that method. Sure you can plug an external hard drive into a router and it'll do the same thing. Just be weary of issues the router may have. ASUS got pinged for leaving a security hole where anyone could write to the drive.

External hard drives by default are only accessible by the computer hooked up to it. In contrast, "personal cloud drives" is a market name for "network attached storage", meaning anyone on the network can access it. If you're feeling really ballsy, you can set it up such that it's accessible through the internet as well.

You can make the external hard drive accessible through the network if the host computer sets up the sharing permissions, but then that computer has to stay on all the time if you want access at any time.

But single 1070 better option and will use a lot less power. And less heat.

    jks.
IF you can get the 970 for suuuuuper cheap, go that route. But at MSRP prices, definitely go with the 1070 and sell the old one.

    1) i dont think you would get much more with 2 970's then with 1 GTX1070
    2) Some games SLI Scale very badly.
    3) Overall for power consumption and many other things i would recommend the single GTX 1070

sli is not a good solution as most games do not scale properly i would say get a 1070 but if you want something good for money get a another 970 as it is still a beast of a card and can be picked up cheap used
