NAT types in games describes how much security is in between the server and your machine. It could be due to the double router, idk really.

RAM speed doesn't really matter for most users. If you're using a iGPU as the others mentioned it could be beneficial. Also, if you have an incredibly high performance system, and play CPU intensive games at high framerates then RAM speed can start to make a difference. faster RAM also often isn't much more expensive than the slower stuff. You certainly don't need to feel obligated for faster RAM, but investing a couple extra bucks in faster RAM isn't exactly a bad thing either. If you DO find yourself interested in high performance RAM, don't forget to take into account its timings as well, as this will also make a difference in gaming in addition to its speed. G.skill tends to have slightly lower latency RAM than the competition at equivalent speeds (especially in their Trident Z series) but again its unlikely to make any notable difference unless you have a high performance system.

As far as the Corsair LPX RAM itself goes... RAM is RAM. its as reliable as anyone else is. If you like its look or its form factor (LPX RAM is quite short which is especially nice when used with large CPU heatsinks which overhang the RAM) then its a fine investment. If you would rather a different look then get different RAM.

7600k bro, close but if the price is similar no reason not to get the 7600k.

Motherboards don't currently matter performance wise. Look for a motherboard that has the features you need, and one that you think looks good, and you will be good to go.

I personally have the z170-a and I love it. It overclocks nicely and looks slick in my black/white build. But really you have to look at the extra features/software in motherboards, because that's where price increases and where personal preference kicks in. Any of those boards will be fine, though. Plus you should get the one that goes with your build and you like the look of

    I back this whole-heartedly.
The Asus Zxxxx-A boards have been awesome boards for the last few generations. They provide you with the same core features as all of Asus's more expensive offerings with just a few less bells and whistles that most people wouldn't use anyway. They also looks great (IMO) and I have found them to be rock solid. I do not have one in my own system but have built a few systems using these boards.

But as @bgibbz said, mobos don't really matter nowadays for performance. Get one that is a Z170, and has the features you need (wifi, Bluetooth, M.2 support, extra USB 3, extra SATA, whatever)

I personally like ASUS and EVGA motherboards the best but get a decent motherboard that has all the I/O that you need like M.2, USB 3.1, etc and has a ascetic that you like. Like @bgibbz and @pwn_intended said the motherboard really does not make a difference in performance.
