Intrresting. How do i make an image of my system?:d

I use Macrium Reflect Software but I get it free through work, there is a free version but I've not tried it so unsure if it will correctly backup everything, Windows 10 does have a backup solution built in but I've never tried that and Windows or Microsoft tools aren't exactly the most reliable solutions. Have a browse around google I'm sure theres a lot on the subject you can probably find something free to try out

Hi, I installed a new GPU, restarted pc, installed drivers, everything worked fine. After that i turned off the pc for 3 hours and now when I start it i get this error. (first picture)What happened? I get the same error with the old GPU too, so that s not the problem. I tried leaving only the SSD that i have my windows on and it told me to insare a bootable device and then continue, but the ssd IS the only bootable device..please help

That looks like your BIOS isnt loading. Is the PC actually posting? Have you tried restarting? Also try clearing CMOS.

Try booting into windows install media and clicking the repair option. Run the automatic troubleshooter and see if it detects any issues.

At this point I'd probably remove any GPU and use the on board HDMI / VGA output to see if you can post

Its not the gpu..i tried it with the old one too and it did the same thing and the old one was in perfect condition. How do i clear CMOS?

Usually when I've come across this issue it's because of the Legacy support / UEFI Boot options, would be strange for it to have changed but worth checking in BIOS first as it's a real simple fix

if your running Windows 10 you'll want the UEFI option, if using Windows 7 should boot fine on Legacy

If you cannot boot into windows at all, I suggest you re-installing the windows.

Read your motherboards manual, usually you just short 2 pins.

Try to disable quick/fast boot, and then check if you can boot into Windows.

I tried. Same problem. Ill just reinstall windows. Could it be that the SSD has a problem? Even though BIOS can read it? It can even read how much space is free on it.

It's possible but unlikely, Windows is more likely to have gone all funky on you, were you powering it off manually or shutting it the pc down normally? you can always boot to install media and run sfc /scannow in CMD

I'm guessing you tried manually selecting it from the boot menu? F12 or whatever the key is for your system

I tried everything..tried to prioritize it as first boot option, tried to boot directly from it, even plugged out everything else except the ssd.

Never used Norton Ghost, my setup I have 2 1TB Samsung SSD's in Raid which I use to install all my Games etc so I only have to install Steam or something on the M.2, also keep install files for any important software as backup but I reinstall my windows once a month, I'd recomend that method to anyone just saves searching / downloading / time and effort

You can always make an image of your system once you have everything installed for future use and create a boot USB
