Looks pretty good overall. You could try for a AIO cooler if you prefer that route otherwise it looks like you have all the options covered. As long as you have all your storage devices and Windows license as well. Solid build

    Hey,

Your build looks pretty good and in regards to RAM the maximum supported speed should be the max speed supported by the motherboard. I have 16GB of 3200MHz in my system with no problems with the 6700K. Even though I have a 'K' CPU it shouldn't make a real difference as the 'K' just means it can overclock not difference in much else really (Aside from boost speed). The corsair vengeance kits are brilliant and you should have no problems with those. Please let me know if this helped.

The Asus ROG Buzzard (https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-GX860-Buzzard-Mouse/overview/)has all of the features you asked for. it is $52 on Amazon. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0167N0TZE/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER ) Would this work? Basically the only thing this mouse doesn't have is RGB.

Good. Those parts are the ones you should buy once and reuse again and again. A decent PSU usually has a 5-10 year lifespan and a case if looked after well can last indefinitely (Provided it's not left in sunlight and warps and etc.) But if you buy once with the car and PSU they should last well.  All I would say is don't cheap out on those. You have the right idea.

We all need Zen, for it will help us establish our inner spiritual balance and will stir up the competition, putting an end to this terrible dark era of high prices brought on by the too long uncontested Nvidia and Intel.

But just make sure you know the price to performance difference. If it is minimal then it will be ok otherwise it may not be worth it from the 1060.

They definitely need it Intel and Nvidia are smashing AMD at the moment. AMD needs the Zen release to be a success to stay in the major league of the silicon race.

Asus and EVGA have great customer service.

    oh dear god (facepalm)
They get good reviews because the people who reviews them has only tried gaming headsets, also this is the list of headsets that are somewhat good value with good sound.

    HyperX cloud (all of them)
    Sennheiser Game zero
    Sennheiser Game one
    Beyerdynamic MX300
    Audio-technica ATH-ADG1X
    Audio-technica ATH-AG1X

That is pretty much them all.

All of this 7.1 is BS, it is just software and the few headsets with "real" surround sound has so many shitty small drivers that are not synced that well up and the drivers are also way too close to your ears to give you real surround sound.

I stand corrected.  Although depending on what you intend to play a 1070 may still more than sufficient over the 1080? It will also be a lot cheaper.

Most newer PSU's support the 0db at idle feature. The EVGA Supernova range features a 0db at idle mode. The Supernova Series is a great range that will perform well in your system. A Supernova G2 750W would be sufficient and even then still possibly overkill.

What is your budget? I dont see a PSU. I would also add an SSD for better boot times. Don't worry about your RAM and CPU, those are two different parts, their speed is independent of each other.

    ya don't really need a 6700K, a 6600K is better fr gaming.
you don't need anywhere near a 1000W PSU. I can't help you on this problem.
depending on the games you play, maybe a 1060 or 1070?

That build looks fantastic. It should perform perfectly towards your needs. Also I'm glad to see you got a better CPU cooler. Great improvement over the last one.

The Asus Strix 1070 is a great card and if it is within your budget you should give it a look. If you plan to overclock you can pick up the OC edition for a bit more. The card runs quiet and has tons of power. Plus RGB's for days!
