New Gamer PC 1151

HI Guy´s (and maybe Girl´s)

My name is Max and I´m now planing my new PC.

At the start i wanted the X99 Platform with the 2011-v3 Cpu´s. BUT im not an Photo artist or Video editor. Im a Gamer. so i need high clock speed´s and so on.

So i decided to go with the Z170 chipset, the 1151 socket from Intel. I will list all the components and other stuff. If you have better opinion´s for some stuff let me know.

Mainboard: Asus TUF sabertooth Z170 mark 1 (because it has a thermal armor, great OC, Great fan control and 5 year warranty)

Cpu: I7 6700K

CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15 (i don´t like water cooling so much, because they are loud and i want all my fan´s at 0 rpm when my pc is idle)

Ram : 2 x 8 gb DDR4 (I don´t know which Manufacture yet)

PSU: Corsair RMi 1000 watt

GPU: i decide later (until it´s powerful enough i use my old GTX 970)

HDD/SSD: I use my old one

This is my plan for now.

Better plan´s ?

write please.

Thx

ya don't really need a 6700K, a 6600K is better fr gaming.

you don't need anywhere near a 1000W PSU. I can't help you on this problem.

depending on the games you play, maybe a 1060 or 1070?

Well first off you'll never need a 1000w powersupply. The RMI650 would be more then enough.

i wait for the GTX 1080 IT gpu or (depending on the money) the GTX 1080 when the GTX 1080 IT is out because the price will then drop on the GTX 1080

Most newer PSU's support the 0db at idle feature. The EVGA Supernova range features a 0db at idle mode. The Supernova Series is a great range that will perform well in your system. A Supernova G2 750W would be sufficient and even then still possibly overkill. :D

From my knowledge Nvidia has not yet even confirmed the 1080 TI so relying on it top lower prices may not be entirely reliable. If you have heard differently please let me know. :D

Well hey if you wanna waste your money. Your gpu fan is going to be spinning under load anyways so it defeats the purpose of 0 db fan mode. Just saying.
