yes, everything is good. do you already own the 650ti? because the 700w power supply is a bit overkill for the system. you could get a 500/550 watt psu and take the savings and like i said get a 660ti or 760. but that's a good mid range build.

depends what you're doing. what's the price range? i'd maybe suggest going with 660ti or 760

there should just be a sticky thread on the 780 vs 290x. i think this is the 243,235 thread on it.

If you were choosing between them and you didn't have a 780 i would say go with the 290x but you have a 780 so no real point.
 
Also the 290x is amazing loud lol. 

2 cards will usually give you higher fps and better performance. But there are issues that arise with having 2 cards. But if you're looking at overall performance, then 2 cards is the way to go. And, in your case, you can get them cheaper than the 290x. I'd go with the 2 card setup.
 
(also consider, if you get a 290x, if you want to upgrade you can get another 290x and do crossfire that way. Three way crossfire with the 280 isn't a good idea for many reasons)

The Asian companies make the cheaper 2K monitors for $300 now, I'm sure they'll make 4K ones for $500 or so.
